They Are A Privately Run Organization Founded In 1998 From A Direct Need To Shelter Unwanted Cats Within The County

The Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) animal service agency, is devoted to providing medical, social, behavioral and financial care for animals at risk and determined to eliminate animal homelessness in the Burbank community.

The Friends of Oakland Animal Services (FOAS) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that funds veterinary care for injured animals, shelter housing and facility improvements, adoption and fostering outreach and supplies, and volunteer program support.

To protect and enhance the lives of stray and abandoned domestic dogs and cats in need, with the primary focus on the animals originating from within the City of San Juan Capistrano A commitment to the humane treatment and rehabilitation of these animals through appropriate temporary housing, training and medical care. A commitment to responding to the animals’ needs through humane efforts with sensitivity, compassion and technical skill. A commitment to pursue suitable adoptions into permanent homes that address and fulfill the animals’ current and future needs. To encourage and assist in appropriate medical care for all domestic animals, including altering to help reduce the number of stray and abandoned animals. A commitment to humane animal treatment education throughout the community and beyond. A commitment to provide obedience training, where necessary, behavior management, where necessary, and assessment and evaluation of adoptability of any animal in its care. A commitment to provide follow-up services and advice to adoptive families, should those families so request.

The Humane Society of Central Texas provides adoption, rescue and foster opportunities for the homeless animals at the Waco Animal Shelter in Waco, Texas. We are the only regional, open-admission animal shelter in the area. Thanks to our community and supporters, even with an annual intake of 6,000 animals, we have attained No Kill Status, meaning that at least 90% of animals that come into the shelter leave here alive for wonderful new homes!

Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is dedicated to providing shelter, care, humane treatment and loving homes for stray or unwanted companion animals. We serve our community by fostering relationships, educating and making a positive impact on pet overpopulation.

The Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc. was founded by a group of residents of Schoharie county disturbed by the plight of the many straved, abused and stray animals in this area.ASSV is a not for profit, NO KILL organization  & is made up of all volunteer members & board of directors, with the exception of the shelter manager & kennel workers.The goal of ASSV has been to try to aleviate stray animal suffering & to build a shelter to house, feed & care for these animals until safe & loving homes are foundfor them.  We are providing space in the new building to house a low cost spay/neuter clinic.ASSV also strives to educate the public to spay & neuter their pets to eliminate the problem of unwanted offspring.

A Friend of Jack Rescue is a foster-based animal welfare and rescue group dedicated to saving unwanted dogs and puppies from euthanasia and finding them loving, lasting homes.

To provide financial assistance for the animals at Cleveland Animal Care and Control, which includes daily enrichment opportunities, medical care and supporting the CITY DOGS adoption and volunteer programs.

The mission of Friends of North Augusta Animals is to work with citizens and public officials of North Augusta SC to help establish a safe and humane environment for animals impounded in North Augusta SC, and to help arrange for their vetting and foster positive public relations in order that they might find permanent homes.

The Humane Society of Sullivan County, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to the education of the public in the humane treatment of all animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the importance of animal control through the promotion of spaying and neutering. The mission of Friends of the Animal Village is to provide supplemental financial and promotional support to our local animal shelter, the Little Rock Animal Village. Through fundraising events, donations, and promotion, our ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the Village and increase adoptions
