The Humane Society of Central Texas provides adoption, rescue and foster opportunities for the homeless animals at the Waco Animal Shelter in Waco, Texas. We are the only regional, open-admission animal shelter in the area. Thanks to our community and supporters, even with an annual intake of 6,000 animals, we have attained No Kill Status, meaning that at least 90% of animals that come into the shelter leave here alive for wonderful new homes!
