Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization that is 100% funded through donations. Our mission is threefold: - To provide exceptional care for homeless animals - To promote spaying/neutering, microchipping and humane education - To place homeless cats and dogs in permanent, loving homes At Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, no animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.

Stray Network Animal Rescue

Stray Network Animal Rescue is a network of volunteers working together to rescue displaced, disposed of, neglected, abused stray dogs. We work more specifically with pregnant, mother with puppies and orphaned puppies. SNAR also educates and assists in the community by covering spay and neuter, veterinary care and food for those unable to cover the cost associated with the care. SNAR is run by volunteers and funded completely through donations.

Cochrane & Area Humane Society

At the Cochrane Humane Society we care for lost, abandoned, injured and surrendered animals. The Society staff and volunteers strive to find loving homes for all of the animals that come into our care. We offer resources to adopters to try and make each adoption a permanent, successful one. Each year we hold several annual, community events to raise funds for the Society and provide family activities for our community.

Barriers Against Repeated Cruelty

Barriers Against Repeated Cruelty, BARC Chicago, is eliminating cruelty and encouraging compassion for our animal companions. We support and encourage the human-animal bond by education, outreach and understanding for animals as sentient beings. ​BARC provides emergency funding and urgent resources for animals in immediate need, with a primary focus on animals in kill facilities and domestic violence situations. We adhere to and support the NO Kill philosophy and the value of every life.

Friends Of The Bristol Animal Shelter

The mission of the Friends of the Bristol Animal Shelter is to assist the Town of Bristol in their efforts to provide a safe and healthy environment for the sick, abused, abandoned and homeless animals that come into the care of the Bristol Animal Shelter until they find their forever home. To that end, we will provide funding for routine and emergency veterinary services for the animals in their care. We are also committed to promoting humane education in order to reduce the neglect, abuse and abandonment of companion animals.

Wild Africa Foundation

North Texas Basset Hound Rescue

North Texas Basset Hound Rescue, Inc. is organized for the following purposes:1. Prevent cruelty to animals, specifically basset hounds; 2. Support animal welfare by locating and retrieving homeless, unwanted and/or mistreated basset hounds; 3. Provide necessary funding for medical care, spaying and neutering, for unwanted and/or mistreated basset hounds; and 4. Place homeless, unwanted, and or mistreated canine basset hounds in permanent, loving homes.

Spay It Forward NFP

Spay It Forward, NFP is a dedicated, non-profit corporation established according to Illinois laws for animal benefit. It is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals and providing no-cost, high quality spay/neuter services to feral cats and animal owners. We are an all-volunteer organization, with no paid employees or salaried officers, nor building or maintenance overhead. We do not receive county funding, and all money received is used solely to benefit the animals.

Sea Otter Foundation & Trust

Ensuring the survival and recovery of sea otters (Enhydra lutris) in their habitats by building funds to support research, conservation and education. We focus on enhancing the ability of researchers, scientists, zoological facilities, universities and nonprofits to explore range-wide sea otter ecological studies, educational conservation programs, science and technology advancements as they relate to the sea otter. Additionally, the Foundation educates the general public – locally, nationally and internationally - on the importance and need for sea otter conservation.

SIMCOE AND DISTRICT HUMANE SOCIETY

Chartered in 1953, Simcoe and District Humane Society volunteers have helped animals in and around Norfolk County. SDHS is a non-profit, charitable organization relying on fundraising activities and donations from members of community. Volunteers look after every aspect of the Society including daily operations and working hands on with the animals from intake to adoption. Foster homes are a great asset to the Society as the organization prepares to raise funds for a much needed building.

Eagle Valley Humane Society A Nonprofit

The Eagle Valley Humane Society, EVHS, was established in 1974 to address the needs of homeless animals in Eagle County, Colorado. EVHS is a 501c3 non-profit and all of our funding comes from personal and corporate donations, grants, and fundraisers. EVHS has three employees and relies on the help of many dedicated volunteers. The volunteers participate through fundraising, foster care, socializing the animals, office work and more! Volunteers are our most valuable asset.

Conservation Nation

TOGETHER, WE CAN FIGHT TO ERASE EXTINCTION. Conservation Nation funds Smithsonian scientists' research to save threatened species in the wild. But, we do much more than that. We're a nation of supporters, including you, that are passionate about wildlife conservation in North America and around the world. Conservation Nation is an initiative of Friends of the National Zoo, the registered 501(c)(3) non-profit partner of the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute.
