The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. We are an all-volunteer organization that rescues dogs of all ages but especially dogs 5 years of age and older.

The mission of The Greater New Haven Cat Project, Inc. (GNHCP) is to end the suffering of homeless cats through the practice of trap/neuter/return (TNR), and also to educate the community ethically about the importance of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. Our primary goal is to provide the low-income and transient neighborhoods of the Greater New Haven area with a comprehensive TNR program and low-cost spay/neuter assistance program.

EBLTP (Edisto Beach Loggerhead Turtle Project) is the official sea turtle preservation team for endangered sea turtles in the Town of Edisto Beach. Established in 1982, the organization is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit in South Carolina and obtains annual authorization from the SC DNR to perform conservation activities. Its fifty-some volunteers train extensively to professionally assist nesting turtles, stranded turtles, and hatchlings.​ You’ll see us each day at dawn and often in the evenings walking the beach locating nests, protecting them with stakes, tape, and fencing as well as conducting inventories on recently hatched nests. Authorized Turtle Patrol members wear shirts saying “Volunteer” or “Turtle Patrol.”

To promote animal welfare through education and by providing care and temporary placement for heartworm positive and emergency medical needs dogs to give each dog a second chance at a positive outcome.

PNK is a small breed canine rescue. Small breed dogs are often wanted but have diverse personalities that can be easily misunderstood. Many times this can lead to owners surrendering these dogs to high kill shelters or the dogs are simply found as strays. We rescue these small breed dogs from high kill local shelters and place them in experienced, loving foster homes. When a match for adoption is found, we provide education and a life long partnership with the adopter to ensure a successful, loving, and happy life together.....forever!

The mission of Project Freedom Ride ​is to connect unwanted and abandoned dogs in TEXAS & GEORGIA with families and rescues throughout the US and parts of Canada.

Founded in 2001, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya has helped stabilize endangered cheetah populations in East Africa through research, education, and community development. Our mission is to promote the conservation of cheetahs and improve livelihoods of people impacted by carnivores. We are the only cheetah conservation organization focused on conserving cheetah populations outside the bounds of national parks and protected areas. We function as a project under the US-based non-profit organization, Project Survival.

DOVE Project - Dogs of Violence Exposed - was created to support the end of the Dog Meat Trade in Asia. We believe that ultimate change must come from within the country. To that end, the scope of our work integrates rescue efforts, education and advocacy in both S Korea and the US.

A 501c3 student-run nonprofit. Orphaned and abandoned neonatal kittens are taken in from the community and given a complete physical exam by the project coordinators who are current veterinary students. These kittens are then fostered by a community of volunteers who bottle-raise them in their own homes. The kittens are weaned, vaccinated, FeLV tested, spayed or neutered, and dewormed vaccinations before they are put up for adoption, usually by 10-12 weeks of age.
