Every animal is given as much time and care as needed. We strive to help and educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of all these wonderful animals”. We accept owner surrenders at our own discretion.

The mission of Rescue Haven Foundation is to save dogs and give them a chance at a new life. We do this by providing foster homes that will nurture their physical and emotional health, help locate their ideal forever homes while providing support and training to help assure that their stay in their new homes will be a permanent and positive experience.

Dogpac's mission is to promote the health and enjoyment of dogs and their guardians through the provision of off-leash recreation opportunities in Central Oregon. The Gentle Barn is a national nonprofit organization, founded in 1999 as a safe haven and place of recovery for severely abused animals. The Gentle Barn offers their unique philosophy of rehabilitating animals and connecting their stories of survival and healing to the personal experiences of inner city, at-risk and special needs children who have suffered physical, mental, or emotional trauma. By interacting with The Gentle Barn’s approximate two hundred animals and taking a hands-on role in their welfare, those who participate in the programs at The Gentle Barn learn empathy, trust, and forgiveness. The Gentle Barn is run by Founder Ellie Laks and her husband and Co-founder Jay Weiner, both of whom were healed and supported by animals as children. The Gentle Barn’s mission is simple: “Inspiring Kindness and Compassion towards Animals, Our Planet, and Each Other.”

NEER North actively rescues horses and donkeys in need. There are a wide variety of situations including owner surrenders, abuse and neglect, where these majestic animals are at risk of diminished health or, worse yet, heading to slaughter. NEER North is a safe haven where these animals are rehabilitated with the intention of adoption into new families. NEER North also networks closely with other like minded equine rescue organizations, assisting where needed.

The feline healthcare team at Uniquely Cats® Veterinary Center is motivated by a deep passion for cats — for helping cats to live healthy lives, for helping sick cats to get better, for nurturing the human-feline bond, and for sharing their knowledge and the joy of feline health and happiness. They are dedicated to providing the most thorough, compassionate, and advanced care to each individual cat entrusted to their care. A donation to their Angel Fund will help cat families that are in need of financial support to care for their beloved kitty.

Angel's Wings coordinates transport of displaced animals, medical patients in financial need and Military Veterans from an airport closest to the point of origination to an airport closest to the destination through the use of general aviation aircraft. By using private or corporate planes, we have the ability to fly into not only commercial airports, but also small local airstrips. There is never a fee to the sending or receiving organization. Angel's Wings arranges free air transportation on private aircraft in response to pet overpopulation, health care and other compelling human needs.

Our mission: To encourage and promote responsible dog ownership and to reduce the abuse and neglect of all Golden Retrievers through rehabilitation and adoption. To do all in our power to assure the humane treatment of Golden Retrievers and to accept unwanted Golden Retrievers, care for them medically, spay/neuter and rehabilitate them and place them in caring homes. To educate the public in responsible dog ownership to include proper health, spay/neutering, nutrition, training and good canine citizenship. To discourage unwanted or careless breeding practices and promote humane care for all dogs.

Angels for Minis a 501 c3 non-profit, strives to be a safe sanctuary for miniature horses who have been abused, neglected, hoarded, starved, or removed by legal authority. To train horses to trust human touch so they can be placed into permanent loving homes.Educate the community about the epidemic of miniature horse abuse and neglect.To care for horses who come in poor health, re-nourish horses who arrive emaciated and to socialize horses who have been without human interaction, Place minis in loving forever homes that are right for the mini, and the mini is right for the home.
