For 40 years, the Bird Rescue Center’s purpose has been to assist the public in the rescue of injured, orphaned or ill wild birds. We are licensed by State and Federal Fish and Wildlife agencies (Permit #MB7074770) to treat and release these birds back into the wild. The Bird Rescue Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our offices and primary care facilities are located in Santa Rosa, California. Our service area includes the northern San Francisco Bay counties of Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Lake and Mendocino. Over 90% of our operating budget comes from memberships, grants and donations from local businesses and individuals, and 90% of our staffing hours are provided by volunteers. BRC has recently received awards and grants from the City of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County in support of our Education Program and organizational development. We depend on the efforts of our dedicated volunteers, and contributions from caring individuals.

Lost Pet Services, Inc. is a highly dedicated volunteer-based organization that reunites lost pets with their families through systematic, free pet recovery services and educational resources in the Sarasota and Manatee counties area. All services provided are free of charge to our community.  By providing microchipping, ID tags, financial support to those struggling with shelter fees, emergency vet care for injured stray pets and temporary kennel care for strays, we are able to keep more family pets out of the overcrowded local shelters and home safe with their families. As Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

The Odd Cat Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501c (3) organization approved MA charity. Our mission with the Odd Cats of New England is simple, yet complex – our foundation regards the Odd Cats in every sense, be it a medical illness, a behavioral issue, abandoned, abused, neglected, feral, semi-feral, death row inmates, or physically challenged. While our cats cannot speak for themselves we have committed our time and effort to champion their cause. Cats have a magnificent presence that deserves to be defended through love, medical care, and affection in the fostering role first; and then with adoption options and placement in their forever home. We have developed the process toward adoption that supports our mission. Our adoption procedure is a three step method that nurtures a successful placement. Additionally, our rescue seeks to decrease the overpopulation in New England that is desperately challenged, this challenge to the overpopulation is where the Odd Cat thrives. We are entirely foster based, volunteer driven, and completely reliant on donations, contributions, and fund raising. Community support is our foundation.

At Michelson Found Animals Foundation, our mission is Saving Pets. Enriching Lives. We work to put pets in good homes and keep them there with a range of programs that encompass social enterprise and philanthropy. We operate the first free national microchip registry to help reunite lost pets with their families. With our Adopt & Shop retail stores, we've helped over 20,000 shelter pets find new homes - and reinvest retail sales proceeds to save more pets. And with our grant programs, we've facilitated millions of spay and neuter surgeries for low-income pet owners. The mission of the Kindness Ranch is to provide a sanctuary and place of rehabilitation for animals who have been used in laboratory research while fostering compassion for all animals.Consistent with our mission, we work to rehabilitate our dogs and cats in a home-like environment. Cats and dogs at The Kindness Ranch live together with their human caretakers in spacious yurts specially designed to meet their needs. They receive round-the-clock care to help them adjust to their new lives.The Kindness Ranch also provides an adoption program for all the animals we can rehabilitate. Those who are too debilitated, old or ill to be placed in a loving home can remain on the ranch to live out their days, surrounded by caretakers and volunteers who put the animals’ well-being first.***Kindness Ranch IS a 501c3 non profit organization. ACR's programs promote better care for community cats through trap-neuter-return. Local programs include placing unwanted cats in new homes, running a low-cost spay/neuter clinic, and providing support for local feral cat caretakers. Nationally we operate a network of CAT ACTION TEAMS across the U.S. Our May Spay Challenge has developed a national network of veterinarians offering free or low-cost TNR services. ACR's mission is to lead the way for humane care for all cats.

The Parrot Rescue Center of Costa Rica is a 501(c)3, non profit rescue center that collaborates with the local Costa Rican Ministry of the Environment and Energy (MINAE). Their primary focus is to rescue, rehabilitate, and, whenever possible, release parrots that have been kept in captivity illegally. It is a pivotal goal of the PRC Mission to release as many birds as possible so that they can fly free. For those that are unable to be released, they provide a permanent, safe environment that fulfills their physical, mental and social needs.
