Joy of Pets Joy of Pets is deeply rooted in the organization’s heritage. This dimension suggests AHS is proud of its pets and enjoys the responsibility of compassionately stewarding the lives of animals. For many decades, the television show Pets on Parade, the Pet Telethon, and other less visible programs have highlighted the joy a pet offers. Our mission is to support, develop, enrich, and publicize the benefits of Palo Alto animal services, a division of the Palo Alto police department. The friends group intends to aid the shelter in accomplishing its objectives: offering animals for adoption, providing low cost spay/neuter surgery and vaccination services, rescuing animals at risk of injury or neglect, and operating animal control services to protect public safety.

Established in 2008, Furever Friends Animal Rescue of Brunswick County, NC (FFAR) is an active 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation in good standing with the State of North Carolina. The main purpose of FFAR is to provide medical and surgical care to homeless, injured or abandoned animals and prepare them for adoption.

It is the mission of the Virginia Beach Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (VBSPCA) to create a more humane and responsible community by decreasing our tolerance for cruelty while increasing our capacity for compassion.

The mission of Protectors of Animals, Inc. (POA) is to improve the lives of cats and dogs in its communities. Its objectives and goals are to: •Provide shelter and veterinary care to cats and dogs until they can be matched with responsible owners. •Reduce the number of stray animals in Connecticut through spaying/neutering programs. •Increase community awareness of the importance of spaying/neutering, as well as providing information about proper pet care throughout all stages of an animal's life - a critical component to ending animal overpopulation and homelessness. •Humanely reduce the populations of community and feral (unsocialized) cats through the strategy of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).
