Maxfund

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization established to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners and to find new homes for these animals once they have recovered. Further, the Maxfund is committed to the following goals: Develop and implement education programs pertaining to animal care, with emphasis on the importance of spaying and neutering. Disseminate information on spay/neuter facilities and, to conduct spay/neuter clinics for pets of low income families. Be a voice for the animals on issues of animal welfare Cooperate with other animal facilities/shelter in accomplishing these goals.

Forgotten Cats

At Forgotten Cats, our mission is to reduce the unwanted cat population without killing and to stop the suffering of the thousands of kittens born to abandoned, homeless cats. We do this by working with colony caretakers to trap, sterilize, vaccinate, and return every cat within a colony. We provide the necessary medical treatment for sick or injured feral cats, stray cats, and kittens. We are working to find homes for adoptable cats and kittens. We also provide education about spay neuter, and we are assisting other cat rescue groups with trap, neuter, and return programs.

Lost Pet Services

Lost Pet Services, Inc. is a highly dedicated volunteer-based organization that reunites lost pets with their families through systematic, free pet recovery services and educational resources in the Sarasota and Manatee counties area. All services provided are free of charge to our community.  By providing microchipping, ID tags, financial support to those struggling with shelter fees, emergency vet care for injured stray pets and temporary kennel care for strays, we are able to keep more family pets out of the overcrowded local shelters and home safe with their families. As Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

Rescue City

Rescue City is a no-kill, non-profit pet rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption organization. We believe it is our moral responsibility to defend the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. We take on helpless stray and surrendered animals, as well as those at the top of the euthanasia list at local and national shelters. We place our rescues in nurturing foster homes while they rebuild their lives through physical and mental rehabilitation. Following a hassle free adoption process, our Rescues are placed in loving & committed permanent homes. Our commitment to our rescues does not stop once the adoption paperwork is signed. We stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our Fosters, Adopters, and community on what it means to be a good pet owner.

Richland Area Rescue Incorporated

Richland Area Rescue helps animals in need in the Richland County area of Wisconsin. They are an all-volunteer organization. They are funded by donations and adoption fees. They also are responsible for picking up stray or abandoned animals in the area.
