Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) is dedicated to the mission of preserving, protecting, and enhancing the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA). Our mission encompasses a commitment to safeguarding the unique ecosystem of the area, fostering a deep connection between people and nature, and supporting the National Park Service in its endeavors. This includes a focus on youth education, scientific research, improvement of park facilities, community stewardship, and the preservation of indigenous cultural resources. This vision is rooted in the belief that sustainable practices and community engagement are key to preserving the ecological and cultural richness of the Santa Monica Mountains for future generations.

Saving Wildlife International’s (SWI) mission is to assist people of all ages and cultures in developing an awareness of and commitment to nature that will result in informed decisions and constructive actions concerning wildlife and our environment. Since April 2000, SWI has enthusiastically shared its commitment to wildlife conservation with diverse audiences ranging from school classrooms to national television. Well on its way to becoming a nationally recognized wildlife organization, they are proud to provide displaced animals with a purpose and permanent home. SWI offers wildlife presentations featuring live mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians to primary and secondary schools, military bases, homeless shelters, and retirement communities throughout California.

The Humane Farming Association (HFA) - now over 200,000 members strong - is the nation's largest and most effective organization dedicated to the protection of farm animals. Founded in 1985, HFA has gained national recognition and respect through its hard work and its highly-visible, highly-successful campaigns.HFA's goals are: 1) to protect farm animals from cruelty; 2) to protect the public from the dangerous misuse of antibiotics, hormones, and other chemicals used on factory farms; 3) to protect the environment from the impacts of industrialized animal factories.HFA's comprehensive programs include: anti-cruelty investigations and exposs, national media and ad campaigns, direct hands-on emergency care and refuge for abused farm animals, consumer boycotts, legislation, and youth humane education. HFA's National Veal Boycott continues to be the single most successful campaign ever conducted against factory farming. Achieving an unprecedented drop of nearly 70% in the sale of drugged, anemic, and tortured baby calves, HFA's groundbreaking investigations have just resulted in the first-ever felony convictions of veal industry leaders. HFA's efforts against Bovine Growth Hormones have been pivotal in mobilizing the public against this cruel and dangerous dairy hormone. And HFA's campaigns to stop the abuse of millions of pigs, chickens, and other victims of factory farming continue to turn the tide against the abusive factory farm industry. The outstanding work of the Humane Farming Association is regularly featured on network television and nationally-broadcast radio programs such as ABC's PrimeTIME Live, Good Morning America, World News This Morning and CBS' 60 Minutes. HFA's hard-hitting expos?s have appeared in Time, Newsweek, People, U.S. News and World Report, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and dozens of other major publications across the country.As HFA makes headlines for its landmark victories and hard-hitting anti-cruelty campaigns, there is another equally meaningful aspect to our work - and that is HFA's Farm Animal Refuge. HFA's Farm Animal Refuge is the largest farm animal rescue facility in the world. Over seven square miles, HFA's Refuge offers hands-on emergency care, rehabilitation, and refuge for abused farm animals. HFA is the only national farm animal protection organization with a shelter that has never turned away farm animals seized as a result of a cruelty case.In 1991, HFA established its political and legislative arm - the Humane Farming Action Fund (HFAF). HFAF is the nation's only political lobbying organization founded exclusively to protect animals raised on farms. HFAF enacts strong and enforceable legislation to outlaw animal abuse and works to ensure that existing anti-cruelty laws are not undermined or weakened by inhumane and unethical meat industry-backed legislation. All combined, HFA's programs and activities represent the greatest hopes of those seeking to create a better world for all of earth's creatures.

Many people know things that are not true about the wildlife that lives along our shoreline. SEA Inc. helps them see and understand the birds and marine mammals on the National Wildlife Refuges of the southern Oregon coast. SEA Inc. has been recognized by the US Fish & Wildlife Service as Friends of the Southern Oregon Coastal Refuges.

A Place Called Hope (APCH) is a Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center made up of trained Wildlife Rehabilitators and volunteers who are dedicated to the Preservation of Wildlife.  Our goal is to rescue, re-nest, rehabilitate, and release wild Birds of Prey who have become injured, orphaned or ill with the intention of returning them to the wild after a brief stay at our Center. Those who can not return, due to their injuries often become ambassadors or faculty staff members who then help us to teach the public through educational presentations how to better co-exist with wildlife within one's very own backyard

THE CAPTAIN PAUL WATSON FOUNDATION has been established to promote and further the legacy of Captain Paul Watson. To focus on the protection and conservation of the Ocean through direct intervention supported by education, documentation, research activities and partnerships with other NGOs, governments and international institutions like the United Nations. It will be made up of a small team that will prevent any future interference or dilution of the overall vision of Paul's legacy by keeping management and bureaucracy minimal.

Mission: Wolf connects people with nature using hands-on experiential education. Through volunteer internships and national traveling education programs, we inspire individuals to become stewards of the earth. While providing a home for rescued wolves and horses, we create opportunities for growth through community service and personal interactions with animals. We value education, sustainability, and improving relationships between people, animals, and the world around them.

Ensuring the survival and recovery of sea otters (Enhydra lutris) in their habitats by building funds to support research, conservation and education. We focus on enhancing the ability of researchers, scientists, zoological facilities, universities and nonprofits to explore range-wide sea otter ecological studies, educational conservation programs, science and technology advancements as they relate to the sea otter. Additionally, the Foundation educates the general public – locally, nationally and internationally - on the importance and need for sea otter conservation.

Founded in 2001, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya has helped stabilize endangered cheetah populations in East Africa through research, education, and community development. Our mission is to promote the conservation of cheetahs and improve livelihoods of people impacted by carnivores. We are the only cheetah conservation organization focused on conserving cheetah populations outside the bounds of national parks and protected areas. We function as a project under the US-based non-profit organization, Project Survival.

Bushlife Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and preserving African wildlife in its native habitat. The most important work we do is anti-poaching and conservation in Mana Pools National Park, which is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, and the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe and Zambia. We also monitor and track iconic bull elephants, develop infrastructure to establish ongoing ranger presence in vulnerable areas, and provide funding to support local community health and welfare needs.

To provide a home for abused, unwanted, and orphaned children and animals. To provide an education for a culturally diverse group of children: school, improved social skills, and emotional stability are part of our plan to help break the cycle of poverty and destructive behavior. To provide an awareness through our rehab/education programs which emphasizes that all living things have value no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. When we as a society can recognize this fact we will begin to win the battles for conservation and preservation. To provide God's unconditional love and care for humans and animals who have special needs in their lives, whether mental, physical, or emotional.

Last Chance Forever, The Bird of Prey Conservancy's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick, injured, and orphaned birds of prey. Raptors are important ecological barometers, indicator species, that tell us messages concerning the over-all health of our environment. After all, they live on the same earth that we do, breath the same air, and drink the same water. Being smaller than us, toxins and other forms of environmental ills will affect them quicker than humans. LCF also provides sanctuary for raptors that are unfit to return to the wild. Many are used as Educational Ambassadors in public demonstrations, or as surrogates used to teach young raptors how to survive in the wild. LCF performs over 300 educational programs a year to a wide variety of audiences in varied venues.
