Volunteers for Wildlife is a non-profit Wildlife Hospital & Education Center located in Locust Valley, New York. Our center is dedicated to the preservation of Long Island's wildlife and natural habitats through education & wildlife rehabilitation since 1982. Volunteers for Wildlife admits over 2,000 injured & orphaned wild animals to our Hospital every year. In addition to rehabilitation, we offer exciting, interactive educational programs to children & adults to foster knowledge and appreciation for Long Island's wildlife.

Paws Animal Wildlife Sanctuary

Paws Animal Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc. (PAWS) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization focusing on wildlife education, rescue and rehabilitation. We operate out of South Carolina and carry rehabilitation permits from the state and federal government, as well as USDA and USFWS permits for legal public display of resident animals in wildlife education programs. Our organization is entirely volunteer-based; with no paid staff, 100% of donations go directly toward animal care. We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3), so all donations are tax deductible. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release orphaned or injured wildlife, and to provide educational live-animal presentations that promote peaceful coexistence with native North American wildlife. Our hope is that our site can serve as an information resource for members of the public everywhere!

Urban Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc.

Urban Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc. is a home-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing medical care, nourishment, and shelter to injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife throughout Massachusetts until they are healthy enough to survive in their natural environment, a process that can take a few weeks to a year. We specialize in rehabilitating small mammals, babies and adults alike, such as raccoons, squirrels, foxes, muskrats, opossums, skunks, and porcupines. Since the establishment of Urban Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc. in 2001, our network of rehabilitators has expanded to 4 locations: Springfield, Granby, Russel and Westfield.

Mississippi Gateway Wildlife Rescue

Their purpose is to work closely and; local DNR, Animal control, concerned citizens and; other Rehab providing transportation, Shelter, food and; medical care for orphaned or injured wildlife. The goal of release of these animals and; Birds into a DNR approved area.
