Founded in 1984, the Omaha Zoo Foundation supports the mission, research and programs benefitting Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. To ensure a growing, vibrant Zoo for future generations, it is our priority to build a solid philanthropic foundation for Omaha’s community treasure.

TreeHouse Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1979 dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native wildlife while promoting environmental awareness through education.

To provide wildlife rehabilitation to Wisconsin wildlife with the intent to release back to their native habitat, conduct research designed to further the positive impact of rehabilitation, and provide quality community education programs and services.

Educating has been the primary goal of the sanctuary. My “Turtles to you” program, has been very successful and through it many children have had an opportunity to learn, see and touch box turtles of all sizes. This program will continue as long as there are children. Future hopes for the facility at the sanctuary include field trips, where turtles can be observed in their natural habitat

The mission of the Elmwood Park Zoo is to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the environment that will inspire active participation in conservation.

Appalachian Wildlife Refuge coordinates wildlife rehabilitation efforts in western North Carolina by providing high quality care for injured and orphaned wildlife, supporting the wildlife rehabilitation network through our ability to help numerous species, and offering outreach and education regarding wildlife conservation and coexistence to the community.
