Phoenix Landing provides for parrots in need and acts as advocates for those without protection. Phoenix Landing seeks to improve the quality of life for all parrots. Our objectives are to: * Provide educational activities regarding the care and needs of parrots; * Facilitate adoption for parrots who need a new family; * Provide a home for large parrots who outlive their guardians; * Provide a new home for neglected or unwanted parrots; * Sponsor research of wild habitats and natural parrot behaviors; * Support conservation and eco-tourism; * Sponsor better avian education for vets and vet students; and * Advocate standards of care for breeders, pet stores, sanctuaries, and rescues.

Last Chance for Animals (LCA) recognizes that animals have the ability to experience pain, and as such they deserve certain basic rights protecting them from pain caused by humans. LCA believes that non-human animals should not be subjected to suffering and exploitation by humans because alternatives exist for nearly every traditional "usage" of animals. LCA opposes the use of animals for scientific curiosity, entertainment, clothing, and food. LCA recognizes the use of non-human animals in medical experimentation as both immoral and of questionable scientific validity due to the tremendous biological difference between species. LCA's work advocates conscious and informed lifestyle decisions, and the organization is committed to disseminating truthful information about societal animal abuse to improve the treatment of animals.

The Friends of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge promote the enjoyment, understanding, and protection of native and endangered birds, other wildlife, and their habitats. We focus on our local community and the Pacific Northwest.

Lions Tigers & Bears is dedicated to providing a safe haven to abused and abandoned exotic animals and to inspiring an educational forum to end the exotic animal trade. The mission of The Desert Tortoise Conservancy is to insure that the species does not become extinct, and that sustainable populations survive in the wild. The DTC will care for the homeless, place the needy in nourishing environments and acquire, restore and protect their habitats. We intend to build and operate a Desert Awareness Center in Palm Springs, CA.

CuriOdyssey, a science park for children, incorporates the foundations of the former Coyote Point Museum, but with a new vision. We are a stellar learning center that offers children a comprehensive introduction to the sciences. Our interactive science exhibits, exciting wildlife encounters, and engaging education programs give children authentic learning experiences that help develop an appreciation of the role of science in our lives. We provide the tools and experiences for children to learn and discover the fundamentals of physics, chemistry, biology, and geology by engaging them directly with scientific phenomena – animals, air, sound, water, plants, magnetism, and more. Through such interactions, we help to educate and inspire future leaders and innovators.

Rare uses insights from behavioral science and design thinking to encourage individuals and their communities to adopt behaviors that benefit people and nature-and ensure that change lasts. Our programs are based on the cumulative power of individual action and the exponential power of those actions to inspire others. Rare trains local leaders to lead change, leaving a legacy of increased capacity and a sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride in conservation.

Founded in 1995 as PigHoppers, Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary reflects the need for safe homes for unwanted rabbits, who are often overlooked by shelters and humane societies. GLRS offers a permanent, safe, happy home to many of the animal residents who arrive here. Most healthy rabbits are adopted out to good homes. All mammals are spayed or neutered, health permitting, so as not to contribute to the overpopulation of these animals in our society. GLRS educates the public about the plight of these animals in our society, their needs and required care, through tours of the sanctuary, a newsletter, and public appearances. One of our goals is to prevent rabbits from ending up in a shelter or sanctuary by educating people who are considering acquiring one of these animals.
