Ensuring the survival and recovery of sea otters (Enhydra lutris) in their habitats by building funds to support research, conservation and education. We focus on enhancing the ability of researchers, scientists, zoological facilities, universities and nonprofits to explore range-wide sea otter ecological studies, educational conservation programs, science and technology advancements as they relate to the sea otter. Additionally, the Foundation educates the general public – locally, nationally and internationally - on the importance and need for sea otter conservation.

We're a nation of supporters, including you, that are passionate about wildlife conservation in North America and around the world. Conservation Nation is an initiative of Friends of the National Zoo, the registered 501(c)(3) non-profit partner of the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute.

The Alliance for Florida's National Parks develops and funds projects that promote, preserve and enhance South Florida’s national parks in ways that enrich the experience of park visitors, connect diverse communities to these unique resources, and build a legacy of park stewardship. As the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service in South Florida, The Alliance raises money from individuals, businesses, and foundations to support park programs and projects in five critical areas: Environmental Education - Exploration - Preservation - Restoration - Community Engagement

Bushlife Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and preserving African wildlife in its native habitat. The most important work we do is anti-poaching and conservation in Mana Pools National Park, which is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, and the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe and Zambia. We also monitor and track iconic bull elephants, develop infrastructure to establish ongoing ranger presence in vulnerable areas, and provide funding to support local community health and welfare needs.

A true sanctuary in every sense of the word. Cedarhill Animal Sanctuary is deeply committed to the rescue of animals in need, both domestic and exotic. We are a completely donation run 501 (c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary and we receive no government funding. All 250+ animals that call Cedarhill home are rescues and if we were not here for them, they would have no where else to go. Many of these amazing animals have been abused, neglected, forgotten by the people they depended on.

The Wildcat Sanctuary (TWS) is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill big cat rescue located in Sandstone, MN. TWS provides a natural sanctuary to wild cats in need and inspires change to end the captive wildlife crisis. TWS is funded solely on private donations. The Sanctuary is a rescue organization and is not open to the public. Combining natural and spacious habitats with a life free of exhibition, TWS allows all residents to live wild at heart. As a true sanctuary, we do not buy, breed, sell or exhibit animals. The Wildcat Sanctuary is accredited by the American Sanctuary Association the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and a member of Tigers in America sanctuaries.

We are a nonprofit that operates a wildlife hospital and education center. In 2023, we utilized our hospital space to accept hundreds of wild animals that had become sick, injured, or orphaned. Our team of wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers worked together to provide field rescue, rehabilitation, and release services to a wide range of wild birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. In fact, our team provided expert care to over 70 different species of wild animals. However, saving lives comes at a cost. With $3,500 a month in hospital rent alone, we need all the help we can get to fund our important wildlife conservation efforts!

Established in 1948, Morris Animal Foundation is dedicated to improving and protecting the health of animals through scientific innovation, education and inspiration. Our investment in research has yielded life-saving vaccines, new treatments for critical diseases, superior screening tests, and advanced diagnostic tools. We respond to emerging animal health threats that endanger entire species and make new discoveries in basic animal biology to support applied research. With every study we fund - more than 2,940 to date - we strive to advance the science of veterinary medicine, honoring the founding principles of Dr. Mark L. Morris Sr. to benefit animals worldwide. Keep the Spanish descendant wild horses that have roamed the arroys and foothills of our community for decades healthy and free from capture. Find and maintain a save place for them to live in family groups as they have since they descended from Coronado's encampment in our area centuries ago. Sustain them in winter when grass is scarce and during droughts like we've suffered for the past 8 years. Control herd size humanly and provide veterinary care as needed. Participate with the county and other agencies to find a permanent home in the community to keep them safe from traffic and garner wide spread community support to help the funding of a permanent home where visitor can see and more safely interact with these treasures.

Our mission is to develop new ideas and implement new solutions to address the short and long-term threats to elephant survival, providing them a new future free of cruelty and death at the hands of humans. Our unique approach of developing communities that will end poaching and illegal trafficking, implementing humane economies within host countries and by creating non-invasive research facilities, we will bring transformational change to this epic struggle while bettering the lives of the indigenous population and the host government. The Elephant Project will create self-sustaining and self-funding sanctuaries and communities reducing the need to constantly fundraise for the project. This project is designed to be a model that can be used all over the world to protect endangered species, better the economies of the host country, provide skills training, jobs, healthcare and educational opportunities for the indigenous population.

The Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance Foundation (HCAF) was formed in September of 2006 by the members of the Hawai'i Conservation Alliance (HCA). The HCAF was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to secure private support for the programs and activities of the HCA, actively promulgate information on Hawai'i's conservation values and needs, fund conservation grants, and promote conservation education and awareness. The HCA is a cooperative partnership of 25 member agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations that promote effective, long-term management of Hawai'i's native ecosystems through collaborative research, training, and outreach among land managers, scientists, educators, and the general public. The partners of the Alliance have a combined stewardship of more than 80% of Hawaiʻi's native terrestrial ecosystems and 100% of its marine reserves.
