The Friends of EXPO Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is engaged in a unique partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. Through this collaboration, The Friends supports the recreational, sports, cultural and educational programs that are provided by EXPO Center, a recreation and community center managed by the City for the benefit of economically disadvantaged residents of south Los Angeles.

StoryCorps’ mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world.
