Dj Demp Foundation

The DJ DEMP Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida. We transform the lives of at-risk youth through education and advocacy. We help at-risk youth identify bullying and prevent bullying through positive problem-solving. We believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our mission is to provide a creative learning environment for youth with a particular emphasis on problem solving and youth development to prevent bullying. Our anti-bullying program focuses on eradicating bullying, ridiculing, teasing, and harassment in school. Bullying has a serious and lasting negative effect on the mental health and overall well-being of youth. We work to combat the negative outcomes of bullying, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and poor social performance. Our program centers on aiding students in identifying what bullying is and helping parents train their children on how to recognize bullying and stand up to bullies. We focus on social-emotional learning. We use music to address social issues. Music is an effective tool for supporting students in learning. It gives students a unique opportunity to express themselves creatively and build confidence. Music also improves cognitive and non-cognitive skills and helps develop language skills in children. We provide access to problem-solving workshops that help at-risk kids improve self-esteem and encourage creative expression. Music Inspires

SAAF Mission Statement: Our purpose is to promote the betterment of the lives African Americans. We fulfill our mission by offering workshops, programs and outreach campaigns. We emphasize biblical teachings and God's Plan for our lives. Although our services are open to everyone, basically our programs are designed for African Americans. Why? Statistics show that African Americans are more at risk than any other culture group in this country in every major category of life. Whether its health, divorce rate, out of wedlock births, poverty or single headed households, African Americans are well below the national averages. A large number of African Americans profess to be practicing Christians, and are passionate about their faith. Saving African American Families is committed to calling our culture back to blending our faith into our family life, marriage, health as well as everyday living. Ecuadorian Volunteers Association

EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.
