The Gohan Society

Our mission is to foster an understanding and appreciation of Japan’s culinary heritage in the United States through outreach to chefs, culinary arts professionals and all who admire and enjoy Japanese culture. We are committed to the principles of cultural and gastronomic education and exchange and we believe that by inspiring chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, and food lovers both professional and amateur through such educational initiatives, we will expand and enrich their repertoires, their artistry and their cultural understanding. The Gohan Society serves as a resource center for knowledge of traditional Japanese ingredients, techniques and food-related products, and as a catalyst for the expansion of that knowledge in the United States.

Founded in 1969, the Phoenix Chorale enriches life through excellence and distinction in choral artistry.

Outside The Lens

Outside the Lens (OTL) activates and amplifies voices of historically marginalized individuals through photography, filmmaking, and media arts, catalyzing change within themselves, their community, and the world. For over 20 years, we have delivered an adaptable curriculum to 22,000 youth in weekly classes, after-school programs, summer sessions, workshops, and teacher training. We use cameras and digital media along with a proven educational strategy that allows youth to think creatively, engage in issues that are important to them, and advocate for social change.

The House FM

To serve Christ through the ministry of Christian radio for the glory of God, to evangelize our area and to unify the body of Christ without compromise through music & ministry. Our purpose is tojprovide listeners with an alternative to secular music, keeping hearts and minds focused on the Lord.

The Young Americans

The Young Americans® was founded over 50 years ago in Hollywood, CA. For all of these years our purpose has remained the same: The Young Americans is a charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of understanding and goodwill among people throughout the world through music, dance, performance, academic education and cultural interaction among Student Members and their audiences. It is the intention of The Young Americans organization that Student Members represent a mixture of religious and non-religious beliefs. Student Members will also have differing political persuasions. The Young Americans organization, however, does not endorse any political or religious agenda. Student Members are accepted into the organization based upon their talent and their interest in helping other students throughout America and the world to attain self-confidence, self-esteem, and respect for others through music, dance, and performance. The Student Members of The Young Americans are never paid as performers for the organization. As such, their participation is intended to be educational and not intended to be an occupation. The Young Americans are simply a group of talented young people who attend college level classes, sing, dance, teach others, learn from others, and entertain throughout the world.

The Book Truck

Every year, The Book Truck gives thousands of free books to foster care and low-income teens throughout Los Angeles. Our programming is designed to encourage even the most reluctant readers: we carry the books that teens want the most and staff our truck with a diverse group of trained teen volunteers who make informed book recommendations to their peers and help them select the "right" book. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by increasing literacy skills among underserved teens.

The Dali Museum

The Dali Museum cares for and shares an expertly curated collection of Salvador Dali works to delight and educate our visitors and to provide unique inspiration for events, programs & special exhibits. The Museum serves as an active resource in the cultural life of our community and the world at large.

The Outkast Academy

Founded in 2013 The Outkast Academy's dance, mentorship, and tutoring programs work to ignite purpose in youth. By providing our programs to inner city youth communities, our goal is to empower them reach their highest potential as accountable, passionate, and innovative pioneers of the next generation.

The Roxy Theater

The Roxy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire, educate & engage diverse audiences about the natural and human worlds through cinematic and cultural events. Programs include year-round cinematic and cultural programming at the Roxy, the annual International Wildlife Film Festival the Montana Film Festival, and educational programs under the Roxy Film Academy. The Roxy Film Academy is a leader in the filmmaking community and provides education for youth, production support, promotion and excellence in film exhibition for Montana films and filmmakers.
