Founded in April 2002, Asian / Pacific Islander / American History Project of Greater Rochester (APA-HiP) is a not-for-profit corporation committed to collecting, documenting and preserving the history of Asian / Pacific Islander / Americans (APA) in Greater Rochester, New York. APAA received our 501(c)3 not-for-profit status in September 2003. Mission:  APAA is committed to a stronger Greater Rochester Area community where diverse Asian/Pacific Islander American (APA) peoples are valued, and their heritages and histories are preserved and celebrated.

The Multi-Ethnic Education and Economic Development ("MEED") Center is dedicated to assist the refugee, immigrants and low-income population with business development and job-readiness training.

The PBS Foundation solicits funding for PBS by seeking extraordinary grants and gifts. Working collaboratively with member stations, the PBS Foundation’s fundraising efforts benefit and enhance the system as a whole by providing a source for revenue at the highest level

The Wyland Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and preserving the world’s ocean, waterways, and marine life. Founded by renowned environmental artist Wyland, the Wyland Foundation has helped children and families around the nation to rediscover the importance of healthy oceans and waterways through public art programs, classroom science education, and live events. The foundation gives children the tools they need to become more creative, positive, and solution-oriented. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has worked directly with more than one million children since its inception in 1993.

The AFAR foundation’s mission is to promote cross-cultural exchange by sponsoring international travel and study for students who cannot otherwise afford to experience another part of the world.

The mission of the THEA Foundation is to advocate the importance of art in the development of our youth through educational and promotional activities and to encourage individual participation in art through scholarship, partnership, and other programs.

BICONA Foundation's mission is to assist Indigenous families, living under horrid conditions on many U.S. reservations, by helping to supply food, shelter, clothing, energy and an all around better way of life.
