Mass MOCA's Mission is to foster and present visual and performing ars and related education programs for the benefit of the public.

New York City Ballet's contribution to dance in the 20th Century can be measured in many ways, perhaps none more significant than the extraordinary number of ballets - including those by co-founding choreographers, George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins - that the Company has commissioned and that are performed today by dance companies across the United States and the world. With momentum from an extraordinary 50 years of creative activity, New York City Ballet entered the new millennium committed to further expanding the ballet repertory in the 21st Century by providing opportunities for choreographers, composers, designers, musicians, and dancers to create new work.

The Guitar Center Music Foundation believes that music participation is an essential element in the fabric of an enduring society. The organization aims to keep music education alive and available in our nation’s schools and communities. Founded in 2005, this public charity has reached over 300,000 people through its grants of instruments to music education programs. These grant recipients, which give more people the opportunity to make music, include school music classrooms and community-based organizations. Guitar Center Music Foundation was formerly known as Fender Music Foundation.

The Daniel Pearl Foundation promotes tolerance and understanding internationally through journalism, music and dialogue. Formed by Danny's family and friends to continue Danny's mission of connecting people through words and music, the Foundation addresses the root causes of the hatred that took his life through education and communication.  The Foundation brings journalists and editors from Muslim countries to U.S. newsrooms and uses the universal language of music to promote Harmony for Humanity through the Daniel Pearl World Music Days. Additionally, the Foundation conducts public Muslim- Jewish dialogue and features lectures by journalists and policy makers who contributed original analysis or constructive approaches to problems of national or international concern.

The mission of the Houston Museum of Natural Science shall be to preserve and advance the general knowledge of natural science; to enhance in individuals the knowledge of and delight in natural science and related subjects; and to maintain and promote a museum of the first class.

The mission of The Johnny Mercer Foundation (JMF) is to support the discipline of songwriting in the tradition of the Great American Songbook as exemplified by the life and work of Johnny Mercer: lyricist, composer, performer, collaborator and producer. The Foundation continues Johnny’s legacy by partnering with individuals and organizations dedicated to celebrating and nourishing the disciplines he mastered, and the causes he and Ginger Mercer championed.
