Prevention Institute was founded in 1997 to address complex health and social issues. We move beyond approaches that target individuals, one person at a time, to create systematic, comprehensive strategies that change the conditions that impact community health. The organization builds on the successes of a variety of fields and applies them to new challenges in fields such as injury and violence prevention, traffic safety, health disparities, nutrition and physical activity, and youth development.

At the Immigrant History Initiative, we believe in the power of storytelling to empower and drive change. Our mission is to fundamentally change to how we learn, talk, and think about race, migration, and social justice as a global society. We do this by providing comprehensive education resources that center on the histories and lived experiences of immigrant communities and people of color. IHI’s model has four key components: 1) multimedia curriculum & course design, 2) anti-racist resource development, 3) community engagement and empowerment, and 4) equitable education support. We work with students, educators, schools, communities, and organizations to share the untold stories of immigrant diasporas. Immigrant history IS American history. ​

Sisterhood Agenda is an award-winning, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that creates and implements activities for women and girls around the globe for education, support and empowerment. Sisterhood Agenda promotes positive social change and has over 6,000 global partners in 36 countries. Global partners create an extensive sisterhood network to increase local organization capacity and unite women and girls. Sisterhood Agenda's SEA (Sisterhood Empowerment Academy), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracts international participants. On global and local levels, Sisterhood Agenda addresses social, health, economic and cultural issues facing women and girls to promote positive life outcomes. Sisterhood Agenda's social impact is expanded through partnerships with agencies, individuals and businesses throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, India, the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and other geographic regions. We envision a world where important stories are told by the communities who know them best in order to inform laws, systems and policies that promote justice and equality for all. To make that vision a reality, p.h. balanced films supports women working toward social justice and policy change through multi-day knowledge exchange sessions on the use of film and storytelling for advocacy purposes and a mentorship program to provide ongoing, global support of their efforts.

Rainey Institute is dedicated to positive change for Greater Clevelands youth and families through education and participation in the performing and visual arts
