The Portland GSA Youth Chorus

Bridging Voices, or Portland GSA Youth Chorus, believes that bridges are better than walls. It is a non-audition chorus (meaning no one is cut) and it creates a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ youth and straight allies, ages 13 - 22, to develop their authentic voices through music. For some, it will be the first time they are comfortable being themselves.

The National Domestic Workers Alliance

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is the nation’s leading voice for dignity and fairness for the millions of domestic workers in the United States, most of whom are women. Founded in 2007, NDWA works for the respect, recognition, and inclusion in labor protections for domestic workers. The national alliance is powered by 42 affiliate organizations—plus our first local chapter in Atlanta—of over 10,000 nannies, housekeepers, and caregivers for the elderly in 26 cities and 18 states.

Symphony of the Potomac Inc

The Symphony of the Potomac is a community-based, primarily volunteer orchestra in Montgomery County, Maryland, under the direction of Maestro Joel Lazar. The orchestra provides Montgomery County and the Greater Washington DC area with the opportunity to enjoy symphonic music at a reasonable price. We foster an appreciation of orchestral and other instrumental music and provide music education for both youth and adults. Our regular concert season takes place at the Cultural Arts Center in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.
