To achieve its mission, the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block preserves and interprets its collections of the Art of Latin America, Art of the American West, and Modern and Contemporary Art; cares for and interprets five significant El Presidio historic properties; and produces related exhibitions, education programs, and publications which expand understanding and appreciation of these unique community resources.

The mission of Abada-Capoeira DC Brazilian Arts Center Inc. is to promote, spread, and support Brazilian arts and culture through the practice of capoeira, and to use our practice of capoeira and associated arts to build a healthy and more closely connected Washington, DC area community. We are organized to accomplish charitable and educational goals including working to lessen socio-economic inequality

Our mission is to empower communities to strengthen languages, culture and the environment by using the internet more effectively. Our primary vehicle of engagement is a multilingual cultural wiki designed, populated, and used by the community to help the community satifsfy their evolving community needs. The BASAbali wiki has engaged by nearly 2.5 million to date. The wiki empowerment process is now being replicated in Makassar, Indonesia. BASAbali is a registered nonprofit in the US. To bring top emerging and established professional musicians together in order to share the inspirational, therapeutic, and uplifting power of music with New York City’s disenfranchised homeless shelter population. I believe a shelter exists to provide not only physical but emotional and spiritual support to those who, for whatever reason, have lost the foundation of their homes and communities. I believe that music reaches the core of our being and can play a vital role in nourishing hope, love and strength, particularly when performed at an extremely high artistic level and in a friendly, relaxed setting.

Ragged Wing Ensemble’s mission is to catalyze a deep cultural shift where artistic action is at the center of vital social change. We aim to connect artists and audiences through the ritual of live performance, exploring universal questions that span the ancient and contemporary. We engage in the study and practice of ensemble, collaboratively creating new, interdisciplinary works and activating the next generation of artistically engaged citizens.

This diverse group of instrumentalists and artists is committed to engaging audiences, inspiring local pride, and strengthening the collaborative artistic connections between our various Boston neighborhoods. We offer compelling concerts featuring seldom-heard instrumental and vocal works, as well as the classics of chamber music repertoire. Allied Media Projects (AMP) cultivates media for liberation. Our media includes all the ways we communicate with the world. Our liberation is an ongoing process of personal, collective, and systemic transformation. We are a network of people and projects, rooted in Detroit and connected to hundreds of other places across the globe. Together, we grow and exchange ways of using media to create the world we need.

The Mission Of The Michigan Architectural Foundation Is To Advance Public Awareness Of How Architecture Enriches Life In The State Of Michigan. It Is Achieved In Three Ways: 1)educating A Future Generation Of Architecture Advocates. 2)funding Projects That Benefit Our Communities. 3)connecting People To Resources And Education About Architecture. The Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance intertwines and connects all facets of the fiber arts community.  Open to anyone with an interest in fiber, yarn, fabric, or textiles, SEFAA celebrates, supports, promotes, and perpetuates all fiber art forms. We do so by offering classes, workshops, tours, open studio hours, events, and exhibitions as well as rental space for fiber-related events and studio artists.

Founded in 2004, Bach With Verse brings hope, inspiration and laughter through music and stories to war-torn and remote areas, and prison populations. To fulfill this mission, BWV presents double bassist Richard “Dobbs” Hartshorne in outreach concerts for all ages in schools, orphanages, prisons, refugee camps, rehabilitation and community centers throughout the world. Performances are crafted with a unique blend of classical music and humorous musical stories that are easily accessible to diverse audiences. BWV programs have reached West Bank Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, South Africa, Bolivia, Uganda and prisons throughout the United States.
