PROJECT: MUSIC HEALS US is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide encouragement, education and healing through bringing high-quality live music performances and interactive programming to marginalized communities with limited ability to access it themselves - with a focus on elderly, disabled, rehabilitating, incarcerated, and homeless populations. Now in its fifth season, PROJECT: MUSIC HEALS US has presented close to 200 free classical music concerts, workshops, and residencies in hospitals, nursing homes, hospice centers, retirement homes, food pantries, centers for individuals with disabilities, correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and refugee camps.

To realize its’ critically important and intentionally bold vision, KHAFRE inc. will build monuments and memorials, offer programs and workshops around education, health, and history, provide resources to the formal and informal educators in the delta, engage in community outreach and connection, and operate as a repository and distributor of information on the history, beauty, and talent of and within the Mississippi delta, all for the overarching purpose of improving the quality of life of her sons and daughters.

The Sunjams Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to use music as a healing force. We present live outdoor concerts as a way of bringing people together who also believe in the healing power of music. Our goal is to help fund music education in local public elementary schools because we believe that music education is one of the most effective means of helping kids develop a positive connection with school.

Root Division is a visual arts non-profit that connects creativity and community through a dynamic ecosystem of arts education, exhibitions, and studios. Our mission is to empower artists, promote community service, inspire youth, and enrich the Bay Area through engagement in the visual arts. OUR VISION Root Division’s vision is to be a model of creative excellence, sustainability, and collaboration as it empowers emerging artists to amplify art’s positive impact on society.

The Historical Society of Long Beach collects, preserves and presents local history. Through historical collections, exhibits, and programs we connect people to the past and to the place they live. We present an inclusive community narrative and help create greater understanding of our neighborhoods, the city and its place in the larger world. Through our programs, exhibitions, and collections we engage the community in thinking about what makes Long Beach unique.

Dancing Classrooms is a transformative Social and Emotional-learning program, where we create connections and inspire confidence with Ballroom Dancing! Through the art of Ballroom Dancing, Dancing Classrooms helps children succeed in life by unleashing rapid development of essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills. A distinctively rich, in-school experience, the program engages students in the joy, discipline and teamwork of social dance and creates mutually respectful and effective learning environments.  

The Holter Museum inspires, connects, and heals our community through contemporary exhibitions and innovative arts programming.The museum brings national and international exhibitions into the region, providing a much-needed venue for local and regional artists. The Holter Museum of Art also collects and preserves regional artworks in its permanent collection. The Holter is committed to promoting participation of diverse audiences through outreach, innovative educational programming, and collaboration with other organizations.

Florida West Coast Public Broadcasting, Inc., is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), telecommunications entity which holds the license of WEDU-TV. The organization's mission is to serve the public good and to aid in the creation of an informed citizenry. Through quality programming using new technologies and community outreach, WEDU fulfills the needs of individuals for education, information, and culture and enables people and communities to connect, to grow, and to lead more fulfilling lives.

The mission of the Sierra State Parks Foundation (SSPF) is to provide critically needed financial support and advocacy to the Lake Tahoe-Donner State Parks for education, interpretation, restoration and preservation consistent with the mission of California State Parks. We fund projects and educational programs that connect park visitors with our rich natural resources and cultural heritage. Because of this work and advocacy our parks will continue to be places of education and inspiration for generations to come.

The Philadelphia Sinfonia youth orchestras support the artistic growth of young musicians in the Delaware Valley by providing high-level ensemble experience in a supportive educational environment. We believe that the pursuit of excellence requires performers with integrity, working together toward a common goal. Thus, our mission is three-fold: to provide ensemble performance opportunities for young musicians, to achieve the highest level of artistic advancement, and to educate young people broadly to be strong citizens and leaders as well as responsible musicians. We recruit from a demographically diverse student population to provide an opportunity to anyone who musically qualifies and to enrich the experience of all members of the organization.
