Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded in 2009 by producer Nigel Lythgoe and director Adam Shankman, among others to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the United States. Guided by a board representing all aspects of the American dance community, the foundation's mission is threefold: 1. To sponsor, fund, and/or support dance education programs which expose children in low-income areas to the lifelong benefits of dance education through and with local community organizations. 2. To provide scholarships to talented students studying at accredited or nationally regarded dance schools, studios, or institutions. 3. In conjunction with recognized credentialing organizations, to support and increase the quality of all styles of dance education in the United States.

Founded in 1989, The Northwest Literacy Foundation is a volunteer run nonprofit that seeks to strengthen our community by putting books in the hands of young readers. The NWLF is committed to enhancing youth literacy efforts in the Pacific Northwest by providing literature and resources through partnerships with schools and community organizations. The NWLF collaborates with schools and organizations throughout the area, serving students with high needs and often lacking a depth of resources. Through grants of books, we work to “fill the shelves” of local school libraries, provide additional classroom resources, host author visits and purchase books for community organizations engaged in educational programs. With a rich history of focusing on young readers, collaborating with schools and building effective community partnerships, Northwest Literacy Foundation has provided over 180,000 new books to children, schools and community groups.

The Close Up Foundation brings citizens from throughout the nation and around the world to Washington, D.C., for a firsthand look at the federal government and the development of public policy. A nonprofit, nonpartisan civic education organization, Close Up connects individuals of all ages to their communities and institutions through challenging education programs and products. By building partnerships with the education community, the private and philanthropic sectors, and all branches and levels of government, Close Up makes civic participation a dynamic and meaningful experience. Since its founding in 1970, Close Up has remained focused on the values of citizenship and the importance of an educated electorate, aware that democracy is a constantly renewing experience that must be taught and shared with each new generation. It has continued a strong organizational determination to make the democratic process available to students from every background, and places special emphasis on outreach to disadvantaged young people, with fellowship programs for low-income students, minority students, migrant students, recent immigrants, American Indians, Alaska Natives, the hearing and visually impaired, and other students with special needs.

Burnaby Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the medical equipment needs of Burnaby Hospital. Burnaby Hospital is a 300 bed, community based, acute care hospital caring for over 230,000 people every year. Our Emergency department is one of the busiest in the Province of BC and treats over 45,000 adults and 12,000 children annually.

The Baron Jay Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt nonprofit organization that was legally incorporated in 2004. We are committed to promoting health awareness, relationship guidance, employment preparedness arts education, and financial literacy in economically distressed and underserved communities. We host workshops and programs for at-risk youth that prepare them to become responsible, civic-minded, respectful, and productive citizens. We also sponsor free training programs in computer skills training and English literacy to local communities in underdeveloped regions of the world such as West Central Africa. One of our main goals is to increase digital literacy through computer skill development in poverty stricken communities. All of our workshops are designed to give our beneficiaries practical life-skills that promote self-esteem, empathy, stress reduction, anger management, academic improvement, and civic leadership. Mission The Baron Jay Family Foundation is a global nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of life of people in living in underserved communities worldwide. Our mission is to motivate and empower economically disadvantaged individuals — especially youth — to become productive and contributing members of society by providing: • Life skills education in healthy habits and harmonious relationships. • Culturally enriching experiences that promote self-esteem, good citizenship, leadership qualities, and empathy for others. • Extracurricular workshops in job preparedness, computer training, and financial literacy to help reduce the achievement gap and the global digital divide.

The IBMA Foundation was created by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2007 with a bequest from the Richard Barnhart estate. Mr. Barnhart was a musician from northern Virginia who loved bluegrass and wanted to support educational programs for children. Since the beginning, their goal has been to support bluegrass-music-related educational, literary, artistic, and historic preservation activities.

The purpose of the foundation shall be to preserve and encourage the preservation of historic buildings, objects and sites relating to the history of Hawai'i to promote an awareness of and respect for all that is historically significant and architecturally distinctive in our State; and through these efforts, to keep alive and intact for the enrichment of present and future generations the inherent beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and its unique historic role in the development of the Pacific Basin.

The Zeitoun Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established to preserve the culture and heritage of an ancient people. While its ancient history is well known, its two thousand year past is relatively unknown. Taking major milestones as starting points, this organization will dutifully research more detailed history in order to establish curriculums to educate on this people’s recent history to present.

The Mission Of The Michigan Architectural Foundation Is To Advance Public Awareness Of How Architecture Enriches Life In The State Of Michigan. It Is Achieved In Three Ways: 1)educating A Future Generation Of Architecture Advocates. 2)funding Projects That Benefit Our Communities. 3)connecting People To Resources And Education About Architecture. This Is Done Through Grants, Historic Preservation Awards, Scholarships, Publications, Communications And Children's Programs.

HALO believes every child should have the support of a family. We provide housing, healing and education to thousands of homeless and at-risk children. HALO began in Kansas City, MO by HALO Founder Rebecca Welsh, and has served as the foundation of a family for children who need it most since 2005.Our mission is to help one more child spend one less day alone.

The mission of the American Lighthouse Foundation is to save and preserve our nation’s historic light stations and their rich heritage. ALF has invested over $3.25 million dollars in lighthouse restoration. United Luz Foundation (ULF) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization - A Voice for the Voiceless. We are dedicated to raising awareness to Depression and Domestic Violence globally by utilizing and engaging the arts, beauty, and entertainment industry as powerful allies to empower, advocate, provide programs, resources, and enriching the lives of those who suffer in silence, in addition to women and children who are living in homeless shelters, domestic violence safe houses or living under privileged communities.
