The FCAC’s mission is to further and support the practice and enjoyment of the fine arts in the Fremont community. In addition to active sponsorship of activities such as art in the schools, the Fremont Cultural Arts Council provides a “clearinghouse” for the Arts and other charitable and non-profit activities in the area, helping these organizations to avoid event scheduling conflicts and publishing a calendar of events via our newsletter, the Fremont Focus, and on this website. Azubuike’s Mission is to reconcile the racial divides that exist in our community by giving at-risk youth a voice to express themselves, be heard without bias, and spark a much larger conversation about race relations in the Quad Cities through the Arts. Our Vision is to use the Arts to help us understand our past, show us how to shape our future, while telling a compelling story about why our lives matter.
The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts is a dynamic organization that fosters global education and appreciation for the ceramic arts. NCECA’s programs, exhibitions, publications, opportunities and resources inspire advancement of the field.
The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is devoted to supporting and promoting arts and culture in the Yampa Valley. We achieve this through planning, production and collaborating with arts and humanities programs and initiatives that have a positive educational, cultural and economic impact for our community. As well as being excellent stewards of the 1908 historic train depot. The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supported by our annual members, audiences and local businesses. Large support has been provided by private donation, the City of Steamboat Springs, and regional and national grants.
United Arts builds better communities through support and advocacy of the arts. The United Arts Council supports in-school and out-of-school arts education for K-12 youth; arts programming in Greater Wake County and for emerging arts groups and cultural communities. United Arts also provides community advocacy, professional/leadership development and guidance for special projects. The grants, programs and services of United Arts reach over one million people annually.
