The National Civil Rights Museum, located at the Lorraine Motel, honors and preserves the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We chronicle the American civil rights movement and tell the story of the ongoing struggle for human rights. We educate and serve as a catalyst to inspire action to create positive social change.

NARF's objectives are to protect the rights of and seek justice for tribes and Native peoples. In the words of Executive Director John Echohawk, They ask for nothing more, and will accept nothing less than the U.S. Government keeping the promises it has made to Native Americans." NARF currently represents more than 60 tribes in 20 states on a wide range of critical matters, including land into trust, federal recognition, subsistence hunting & fishing, federal trust responsibilities, protection of sacred places, voting rights, sovereign immunity, Indian Child Welfare, water rights and environmental issues.

Land Grant Founded in 1692 Occupied the Atrisco Area in 1703 Became Part of the United States in 1848 Voted to Incorporate into a Body Politic in 1892 Land Patent issued to the community in 1905 Became part of the State of New Mexico in 1911 Atrisco Land Rights Council is an Atrisco-based nonprofit organization with one mission – to improve our community by helping nonprofits be more impactful through education and the use technology to protect the rights and privileges provided under the United States Constitution ( Sovereign Clause), Treaty Of Guadalupe Hidalgo, New Mexico Constitution, Chapter 49 NMSA, Body Politic – Municipal Corporation created in 1892 for the purpose of governing our community for the benefit of all HEIRS. During the Last 50 years only Shareholders which make up only 10 percent of our Heirship have receive any value from their RIGHTS. Atrisco Land Rights Council provides community education through community engagement and by providing IT services pro bono and fee based consulting and outsourcing services to nonprofits, helping them harness the productivity gains long since enjoyed by the corporate sector, by connecting the needs of nonprofits with the skills and financial resources of the technology community. We focus on technology enabling nonprofits to focus on their mission while to evangelize the land grants mission of community engagement. We at iCDFR are striving to achieve a happy and healthy world, where people live in harmony with each other and sustainable environment for generations to come. We believe it is possible to make a world which knows no suffering and knowledge permeates through all levels. To improve education system, provide basic healthcare facilities, raise awareness on human rights, empower women to increase gender equality, as well as focus on environmental sustainability in rural India.

The mission of the "For Equal Rights" Education Center NGO is: To PROMOTE the development of civic consciousness, enhancing values based on rule of law, creation of culture of discussions and debates by enlarging the opportunities of freedom of speech and pluralism. To STIMULATE youth and CSO participation in social and political affairs, increase their influence on decision making process and raise the accountability of the public institutions. To CREATE an alternative dialogue platform for meetings, discussions and debates for representatives of civil society, youth, academia and field of culture, media, policy makers and public figures. To RAISE issues of public concern and create a new field for comprehensive discussions on these issues. To BUILD the capacity of youth, civic activist groups and media representatives and promote development of legally conscious and demanding civil society.

After identifying gaps in the support services available to migrant families and the resulting inequities that befall them, refugee community leaders and town residents founded the Refugee Community Partnership. We are a community-driven organization working to build unique, holistic, and comprehensive support infrastructure for relocated families. All of RCP’s initiatives are born out of grassroots community assessments; from the start, we listen. Through community feedback sessions we regularly evaluate our efficacy, reflect on lessons learned, and make course changes as needed.

Women Make Movies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit media arts service organization established in 1972 to address the under representation and misrepresentation of women in the media industry. Since then, organizational growth and ground-breaking programs have made Women Make Movies the leading distributor of women’s films and videotapes worldwide.WMM carries out its unique mission through an internationally recognized Distribution Service and a Production Assistance Program that helps women film/video directors in all stages of production by offering educational and professional development assistance. We provide emerging artists with the tools that are essential for their artistic development, while giving accomplished women film and videomakers national and international exposure.

DOMINE is feminist, non-governmental, non-profitable organization, established in 2002 with a purpose of promoting women's rights and encouraging development of civil society. Organization's basic activities are education, video production, publishing, public campaigns and direct counseling and support. Domine acts regularly on: economical and political women's empowerment, advocacy of gender mainstreaming policies implementation and politics of equal opportunities, prevention of violence against women in all forms, promoting prevention of sexual and reproductive women's rights, direct legal, psychological and medical support to women, raising awareness of media responsibility regarding women's rights promotion, researching women's past/history of Split and Dalmatia, cooperation and networking with feminist and civil society organizations on local, national and international level, publishing and development of the first feminist library in Split and Dalmatia, media visibility of civil society, capacity strengthening of civil society organizations, cooperation of civil society organizations and local government units with a common goal of democracy promotion and the quality of life in society, stimulating of social entrepreneurship and self-financing.

Our primary purpose is to increase public awareness of women’s achievements and their roles in history and to provide positive public images of women and girls. To fulfill these purposes, Wild West Women, Inc. will, with a particular emphasis on films concerning women’s issues, women’s history and women creators: produce educational films and accompanying educational materials; distribute educational films and videos to the general public; provide training in independent and educational film making, with special efforts to include women and girls of diverse cultures; and provide and sponsor other public educational film, video and arts activities. Founded in 1994.

The Fund for Women Artists (currently doing business as WomenArts) is founded on the belief that women artists have the power to change the way women are perceived in our society. We want to make sure that artists have full access to the financial and other resources they need to do this crucial work. We focus mainly on women in theatre, film, and video, and we have two main goals: To Challenge Stereotypes - We challenge gender and other stereotypes by supporting the creation and appreciation of art that reflects the full diversity and complexity of women's lives. To Increase Opportunities - We advocate for women artists to be paid fairly and to have more opportunities to make a living from their creative work.
