RIMOSA's mission is to utilize Rhode Islands’ rich resources in the arts and sciences to create a distinctive, highly interactive, informal learning center. Our goal is to kindle curiosity, encourage experimentation, and improve understanding of the world around us by merging art and science to create innovative, interactive exhibits and programs. Our target age is 8 and up.

The mission of The Mark Twain House & Museum is to foster an appreciation of the legacy of Mark Twain as one of our nation's defining cultural figures, and of demonstrating the continuing relevance of his work, life, and times.From this house, Mark Twain changed the way the world sees America and the way Americans see themselves. We carry on his legacy.

The Connecticut Audubon Society conserves Connecticut’s environment through science-based education and advocacy focused on the state’s bird populations and habitats. Founded in 1898, the Connecticut Audubon Society operates nature facilities in Fairfield, Milford, Glastonbury, Pomfret, Hampton, and Sherman, a center in Old Lyme, and an EcoTravel office in Essex. Connecticut Audubon manages 20 wildlife sanctuaries encompassing almost 3,300 acres of open space in Connecticut, and educates over 200,000 children and adults annually. Connecticut Audubon is an independent organization, not affiliated with any national or governmental group. Connecticut Audubon Society’s scientists, educators, citizen scientists, and volunteers work to preserve birds and their environments in Connecticut. Our work includes sanctuary management, advocacy, environmental education and activities at our centers, scientific studies, and our annual Connecticut State of the Birds report.

The Adler Planetarium is a private, not-for-profit cultural institution whose mission is to encourage public interest in astronomy, its history, and to engage and educate a diverse audience in the exciting quest to understand our evolving universe. As part of a new multi-phase visitor experience plan, in 2005 the Adler embarked on a transformation from a traditional planetarium into the world?s premier space science center.

The mission of the Peabody Essex Museum is to celebrate outstanding artistic and cultural creativity by collecting, stewarding and interpreting objects of art and culture in ways that increase knowledge, enrich the spirit, engage the mind and stimulate the senses Through its exhibitions, programs, publications, media and related activities, PEM strives to create experiences that transform people's lives by broadening their perspectives, attitudes, and knowledge of themselves and the wider world.

The Children’s Museum at Holyoke is dedicated to its mission to enhance the educational and cultural awareness of all children through the arts, the sciences, and the world around them. The Museum features participatory exhibits that invite interaction and programs which promote learning and self-discovery. Parents and adults who accompany children to the Museum are strongly encouraged to participate in the exhibits and have fun and enjoy the amazement through the little ones eyes.

The mission of the Brooklyn Museum is to act as a bridge between the rich artistic heritage of world cultures, as embodied in its collections, and the unique experience of each visitor. Dedicated to the primacy of the visitor experience; committed to excellence in every aspect of its collections and programs; and drawing on both new and traditional tools of communication, interpretation and presentation; the Museum aims to serve its diverse publics as a dynamic, innovative and welcoming center for learning through the visual arts.

The mission of the Maine Discovery Museum (MDM) is to educate children and families, encourage creativity, nurture a sense of wonder, and to challenge all to learn in new and innovative ways. Exhibits and programs will be fun, interactive, and thought-provoking, and encourage participation by children and families of all abilities and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a unique community resource, the museum will provide opportunities for exploration and discovery that incorporate aspects of Maine into a greater understanding of the world in which we live.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a state agency and a privately endowed educational institution created for the citizens of Virginia. Its purpose is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret the art of world cultures from all periods of history, to encourage the study of the arts, and to enrich lives. The VMFA Foundation exists solely to support the activities of VMFA and to manage assets held in trust. Support includes transfers to the museum and direct expenditures to further VMFA's mission.

The Mission Statement of the Pan Am Museum Foundation, “to educate, celebrate,and inspire present and future generations by preserving historical and diverse personal stories of Pan American World Airways,” shows its commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity. The Pan Am Museum Foundation was formed in August of 2015 as a not-for-profit registered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving Pan Am's legacy. The Museum opened to the public in 2016 in Garden City, New York.
