True to the ambitious vision of its founder and her spirit of creative risk-taking, the mission of the Isabella Stewart Gardner is: to bring to life and preserve the rich historic collection; to cultivate talent in the pursuit of knowledge and acts of creation in the arts and humanities; to support artists, landscape architects, musicians, scholars, and students; and, to engage local and global audiences in a sanctuary of beauty and the arts where deeply personal and communal adventures unfold.

The Children’s Museum at Holyoke is dedicated to its mission to enhance the educational and cultural awareness of all children through the arts, the sciences, and the world around them. The Museum features participatory exhibits that invite interaction and programs which promote learning and self-discovery. Parents and adults who accompany children to the Museum are strongly encouraged to participate in the exhibits and have fun and enjoy the amazement through the little ones eyes.

Goodwood's mission is to preserve and operate its historic Main House and gardens as a cultural and educational resource for our community and visitors alike. Goodwood is famous for its Main House's unique architecture, superbly restored interior, original furnishings, and for its magnificant gardens and grounds, all of which hold the history of North Florida. These assets exist for the benefit of our community today and to improve life in Tallahassee tomorrow.

The mission of the National Medal of Honor Museum and its attendant education center is to commemorate the stories of our Medal of Honor recipients, unite Americans around what it means to be patriotic, and inspire us to find the hero within ourselves. At a time when Americans yearn for common ground, visitors will appreciate the deeds our best and bravest have done in defense of our liberty and the virtue of putting service over self.

The mission of the Maine Discovery Museum (MDM) is to educate children and families, encourage creativity, nurture a sense of wonder, and to challenge all to learn in new and innovative ways. Exhibits and programs will be fun, interactive, and thought-provoking, and encourage participation by children and families of all abilities and socioeconomic backgrounds. The mission of the Aerospace Museum of California is "To enhance the awareness of aerospace science through education: Explore-Experience-Engage!" The Museum’s education program is based on providing hands-on, practical educational experiences related to math, science, engineering and aviation studies for students from elementary to community college. The Museum captures the lure of flight by allowing visitors to experience aviation and aerospace history in an interactive setting. It is truly a place where imagination soars!
