The mission of the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum is to cultivate a rich educational space for the diverse, international community served by, and rooted in, the American western legacy of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

The Indiana Military Museum is dedicated to fostering the memory, understanding, and appreciation of U.S. military history. This is accomplished by maintaining, preserving, and displaying artifacts which represent the strength and freedom of our American heritage. Located in historic Vincennes, the Indiana Military Museum is home to one of the best, most comprehensive collections of military memorabilia in the country. In addition to the museum’s own artifacts, including military vehicles, aircraft, uniforms, insignia, and equipment from the American Revolution to present day, it also hosts traveling exhibits from the Smithsonian Institution and others.

Founded in 1978 to chronicle & present African American Art, History & Culture, our purpose is to inform & enlighten youth & the broad base public to the many positive achievements and contributions of African Americans. We endeavor to promote intercultural understanding, expand racial & ethnic tolerances, and to encourage positive avenues in Black youth. Our philosophy is that bigotry and prejuidice are fostered by ignorance and that hopelessness and despair felt by many Black youth are fueled by a lack of positive exposure. We use vivid & entertaining mediums to light a spark, to make a difference.

The Hunter Museum of American Art presents dynamic and accessible experiences for visitors through a comprehensive collection of more than 5,000 works, broad-ranging exhibitions, and more than 100 educational programs for children and adults

The Yankee Air Museum dedicates itself to educating individuals through the history of American aeronautics, aerospace industry and its associated technologies while inspiring generations through personal experiences to instill pride in our national accomplishments.

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame honors and celebrates women, past and present, whose lives exemplify the courage, resilience, and independence that helped shape the American West, and fosters an appreciation of the ideals and spirit of self-reliance they inspire.

The SCMS is a 501(c)3 organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to SAVE OUR STORY. We are committed to preserving the history of Americans who served in the 160-year-old Signal Corps, the new Army Cyber Corps, and all those who have served on Fort Eisenhower, GA (Formerly Fort Gordon) since its inception in 1938. We have a plan! The National Constitution Center is the first and only institution in America established by Congress to “disseminate information about the United States Constitution on a non-partisan basis in order to increase the awareness and understanding of the Constitution among the American people.” The Constitution Center brings the United States Constitution to life by hosting interactive exhibitions and constitutional conversations and inspires active citizenship by celebrating the American constitutional tradition. Our non-partisan mission is best expressed in our three goals: to serve the nation and the world as the Museum of We the People, a national Headquarters for Civic Education, and America’s Town Hall. We illuminate the constitutional debates that affect the lives of all Americans by hosting constitutional conversations on Independence Mall in Philadelphia and across a range of media platforms, and we inspire active citizenship by celebrating the American constitutional tradition. Our three goals can be summarized in three words: Visit. Learn. Debate. As the Museum of We the People, the Constitution Center features hundreds of interactive exhibits, engaging theatrical performances, and original documents of freedom. As America’s town hall, the National Constitution Center hosts constitutional debates across a range of broadcast and digital media platforms. As a national and international center for civic education, the Constitution Center offers cutting edge constitutional seminars, discussions, course materials, and interactive and digital resources for students of all ages.

The Timken Museum of Art preserves the Putnam Collection of European old masters, American art and Russian icons for the education and benefit of present and future generations of San Diego residents and visitors. The Museum celebrates the important role of art as a way of enriching lives and nurturing the creative spirit in us all.

Mystic Seaport's mission is to create a broad, public understanding of the relationship of America and the Sea. In order to accomplish this we: document, preserve, and stimulate scholarship in American maritime history and convey to a wide and diverse public the stories of America and the Sea through the Museum's collections, exhibitions, education programs, library, communications, products, and publications; collect and preserve representative examples of American maritime material culture emphasizing art, commerce, technology and science; collect and preserve examples of significant commercial and recreational watercraft related to America's maritime history, focusing on the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries; perpetuate skills associated with America's maritime past; and interpret representative elements of life in nineteenth-century New England maritime communities.

Brandywine Battlefield Park serves the educational needs of the public through the preservation of the cultural landscape and the interpretation of the largest single day battle of the American Revolution. The Brandywine Battlefield Park Associates, a non-profit communitybased organization, supports and assists the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission by conducting the daily operations of the site.

The National Civil Rights Museum, located at the Lorraine Motel, honors and preserves the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We chronicle the American civil rights movement and tell the story of the ongoing struggle for human rights. We educate and serve as a catalyst to inspire action to create positive social change.
