The mission of the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation is to encourage and inspire future innovation in America. We do this through our collections and programs, by exploring the historical impact of industry on American culture, by examining the dynamic processes of invention and innovation, by celebrating our location in Waltham as a foundation of the American Industrial Revolution, by connecting the expertise of older generations with the inquisitiveness of young people, and by delighting audiences of all ages with an educational and engaging museum experience.

The Memorial honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the U.S. during World War II, the more than 400,000 who died, and the millions who supported the war effort from home. Symbolic of the defining event of the 20th Century, the Memorial is a monument to the spirit, sacrifice, and commitment of the American people to the common defense of the nation and to the broader causes of peace and freedom from tyranny throughout the world. It will inspire future generations of Americans, deepening their appreciation of what the World War II generation accomplished in securing freedom and democracy. Above all, the Memorial stands as an important symbol of American national unity, a timeless reminder of the moral strength and awesome power that can flow when a free people are at once united and bonded together in a common and just cause.

The Robbins House’s mission is to reveal the little known African American history of Concord and its regional and national importance. Our vision is to inspire conversation, expand understanding and contribute to a better society.

The mission of the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum is to cultivate a rich educational space for the diverse, international community served by, and rooted in, the American western legacy of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

The Indiana Military Museum is dedicated to fostering the memory, understanding, and appreciation of U.S. military history. This is accomplished by maintaining, preserving, and displaying artifacts which represent the strength and freedom of our American heritage. Located in historic Vincennes, the Indiana Military Museum is home to one of the best, most comprehensive collections of military memorabilia in the country. In addition to the museum’s own artifacts, including military vehicles, aircraft, uniforms, insignia, and equipment from the American Revolution to present day, it also hosts traveling exhibits from the Smithsonian Institution and others.

Founded in 1978 to chronicle & present African American Art, History & Culture, our purpose is to inform & enlighten youth & the broad base public to the many positive achievements and contributions of African Americans. We endeavor to promote intercultural understanding, expand racial & ethnic tolerances, and to encourage positive avenues in Black youth. Our philosophy is that bigotry and prejuidice are fostered by ignorance and that hopelessness and despair felt by many Black youth are fueled by a lack of positive exposure. We use vivid & entertaining mediums to light a spark, to make a difference.

The Hunter Museum of American Art presents dynamic and accessible experiences for visitors through a comprehensive collection of more than 5,000 works, broad-ranging exhibitions, and more than 100 educational programs for children and adults

The Yankee Air Museum dedicates itself to educating individuals through the history of American aeronautics, aerospace industry and its associated technologies while inspiring generations through personal experiences to instill pride in our national accomplishments.

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame honors and celebrates women, past and present, whose lives exemplify the courage, resilience, and independence that helped shape the American West, and fosters an appreciation of the ideals and spirit of self-reliance they inspire.

The SCMS is a 501(c)3 organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to SAVE OUR STORY. We are committed to preserving the history of Americans who served in the 160-year-old Signal Corps, the new Army Cyber Corps, and all those who have served on Fort Eisenhower, GA (Formerly Fort Gordon) since its inception in 1938. The National Constitution Center is the first and only institution in America established by Congress to “disseminate information about the United States Constitution on a non-partisan basis in order to increase the awareness and understanding of the Constitution among the American people.” The Constitution Center brings the United States Constitution to life by hosting interactive exhibitions and constitutional conversations and inspires active citizenship by celebrating the American constitutional tradition. Our non-partisan mission is best expressed in our three goals: to serve the nation and the world as the Museum of We the People, a national Headquarters for Civic Education, and America’s Town Hall. We illuminate the constitutional debates that affect the lives of all Americans by hosting constitutional conversations on Independence Mall in Philadelphia and across a range of media platforms, and we inspire active citizenship by celebrating the American constitutional tradition. Our three goals can be summarized in three words: Visit. Learn. Debate. As the Museum of We the People, the Constitution Center features hundreds of interactive exhibits, engaging theatrical performances, and original documents of freedom. As America’s town hall, the National Constitution Center hosts constitutional debates across a range of broadcast and digital media platforms. As a national and international center for civic education, the Constitution Center offers cutting edge constitutional seminars, discussions, course materials, and interactive and digital resources for students of all ages.

The Timken Museum of Art preserves the Putnam Collection of European old masters, American art and Russian icons for the education and benefit of present and future generations of San Diego residents and visitors. The Museum celebrates the important role of art as a way of enriching lives and nurturing the creative spirit in us all.
