The Mission Statement of the Pan Am Museum Foundation, “to educate, celebrate,and inspire present and future generations by preserving historical and diverse personal stories of Pan American World Airways,” shows its commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity. The Pan Am Museum Foundation was formed in August of 2015 as a not-for-profit registered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving Pan Am's legacy. The Museum opened to the public in 2016 in Garden City, New York.

Old Cowtown Museum is an educational institution dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Wichita from 1865 to 1880. The sole mission of Historic Wichita Cowtown Inc. is to support the museum.

ORHF provides for the preservation, operation and public enjoyment of Portland’s historic locomotives, railroad equipment, and artifacts, and educates the public about Oregon’s rich and diverse railroad history.

Through the efforts of dedicated friends and volunteers, our mission is to provide a center for education and for the preservation of military aircraft and artifacts by showing their importance to the world today.
