Mission The Dixfield Historical Society is a non-profit 501-c3 corporation whose purpose is to collect and preserve artifacts and data from Dixfield’s past, protect current historical materials and promote through education the desire for future generations to honor and respect their heritage.

THE FOUNDATION WILL BUILD PLATFORMS TO PRESERVE THE HISTORY AND ADVANCE THE FUTURE OF THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY IN THE SOUTHWEST THROUGH CATTLE RAISERS MUSEUM EXHIBITS, EDUCATION INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMMING; TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE TO PURSUE CAREERS IN AGRICULTURE; AND TO CAPTURE ORAL HISTORIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO DEFINE THE INDUSTRY.

The mission of The Friends of Clermont, a private, educational not-for-profit corporation, is to advocate for and support the conservation, preservation, development and improvement of Clermont State Historic Site; to support and administer educational programs, services and activities which may extend beyond the normal scope of State support; to encourage and support scholarly research; to raise funds and acquire objects, equipment and supplies solely for the purpose of supporting the programs and activities of The Friends of Clermont and the mission of the site; and otherwise to promote, conserve, preserve, develop and interpret Clermont State Historic site for the benefit of the public for this and future generations.

THE AIRBORNE & SPECIAL OPERATIONS MUSEUM FOUNDATION WILL PROVIDE MARKETING AND ADVERTISING EFFORTS TO THE NON-MILTARY COMMUNITY IN SUPPORT OF THE ONGOING MISSION OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY'S AIRBORNE & SPECIAL OPERATIONS MUSEUM (ASOM). THE ASOM SERVES AS AN ADJUNCT TO THE LOCAL ACADEMIC AND CULTURE COMMUNITY AND PROVIDES MILITARY HISTORY OF THE AIRBORNE & SPECIAL OPERATIONS SOLDIERS, FROM 1940 TO THE PRESENT, TO ACTIVE DUTY SOLDIERS, VETERANS, THEIR FAMILIES AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE. THE FOUNDATION WILL CONDUCT PRIVATE AND PUBLIC FUNDRAISING EFFORTS IN SUPPORT OF THIS MISSION, ONGOING ASOM PROGRAMS, AND FUTURE EXHIBIT SUPPORT.
