OUR MISSION To spark greater human connections through musical storytelling, providing unforgettable performances that reflect the world around us and reimagine what the choral experience can be. HOW WE DO IT Our dedicated volunteer chorus partners with the world’s most talented, multi-disciplinary artists to create exceptional presentations that cross genres and promote deeper engagement with our audiences. We revive neglected masterpieces, energize the traditional repertoire through innovative collaborations, and commission new works on timely topics. We draw upon the rich diversity within our community to inspire us artistically and help guide us as members of our board, chorus, and staff. WHY WE DO IT (OUR VALUES) We believe that – as our founder Robert Shaw wrote in 1941 – “beautiful music is not the privilege of a few, but a necessity of us all.” We believe the human voice raised in communal song has a unique power to unite and inspire the best in all of us. We believe that working together toward artistic excellence can lift the human spirit and foster stronger interpersonal connections. We believe it is our responsibility to create art that is relevant to and resonates with our many audiences, bringing together voices from all backgrounds and walks of life. We believe in keeping our art form vibrant by engaging and involving the next generation of singers, creative artists, and audiences.

The mission of Kacico Dance is: To be a Kansas City based modern dance company of the highest quality presenting public concerts regionally in a variety of presentational forms for audience enjoyment, enrichment, and cultural education. A-To create and maintain a dance repertory of the highest quality facilitated by the artistic skills, knowledge, creative questioning, and experimentations and collaborations of the Co-Artistic Directors. B-To provide company dancers with a consistent, challenging training and rehearsal schedule allowing individual fulfillment of potential guided by the Co-Artistic Directors. C-To perpetuate the existence and exploration of modern dance and its developmental dance forms. D-To provide adequate compensation for all artists involved.

Playful People Productions is a unique theater company, devoted to Positive, Inclusive Family Theater. We create community -- a welcoming, loving, kind environment where performers of all ages are free to express themselves and who they are. At Playful People Productions, families perform together.

Musique Sur La Mer Orchestras has been organized to provide musical education to young people, creating a positive musical experience that promotes character, self-discipline and achievement, providing a nurturing environment that encourages respect, team work and a life-long appreciation of music and its power to make the world a better place.

We strive to create searing hot drama, from name-brand blockbusters, to risky new works and obscure buried treasures that pack emotional force, examine moral dilemmas, and reveal greater truths. By transforming our tiny black box and its explosive immediacy into a thematic asset, specifically tailored for every show and intended to close the gap between actor and audience, thus blurring the line between seating and staging. By utilizing a little red twist in the concept and design of each production to provide a totally unique theatre experience that is simultaneously intimate, comfortable, and safe, yet intense, edgy, and thrilling, at a distance only inches away.

National Dance Institute of New Mexico is founded with the knowledge that the arts have a unique power to motivate and engage children. VISION: ATMTC is the preeminent theater academy for youth in the DC region with an integrated & nationally renowned high quality professional theater for family audiences. Bella Voce's mission is to craft performances that engage audiences in the dialogue between early music and the music of our time.

To empower children in elementary schools statewide through dance and live music programs accessible to all students regardless of abilities and socio-economic status.

To maintain and grow a vital movement center dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the movement theories and practices created by Rudolf Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff. To introduce Laban Movement Analysis (LMA), the Bartenieff Fundamentals (BF), and related work to the general public, and to qualify movement professionals as Certified Movement Analysts (CMAs) through LIMS’ Certification Programs. To encourage Laban/Bartenieff-influenced artistic work, dance research and community engagement dance programs, and to seek the investment needed to publicize and support such endeavors. To bring together a dynamic network of international movement specialists and to promote communication, interaction and growth within the global community of LMA/BF professionals.
