The Beirut Wedding World Theatre Project is a diversity based theatre company, providing a safe haven for artists from traditionally disenfranchised communities to do their best work; and to use that work to shape the world around us into a more tolerant, expansive and celebratory society.

The primary mission of the nonprofit State Theatre is to provide a stage to celebrate and explore the arts together. We serve people of all ages, races, socio-economic backgrounds and cultural interests through our diverse programming, arts education and other community-based initiatives.

Portland Center Stage’s mission is to create transcendent theatrical experiences and community programs that break down the barriers separating people. As one of the top regional theaters in the country, PCS produces an annual season of stage productions, develops new theatrical work, and builds community through a wide array of education and engagement programs. Peace of Heart Choir, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation ("the Choir"), was founded in 2001 by local composer Jeff Becker, who recruited 28 singers to present his original, 9/11 commemorative song at a NYC Recovers’ community event. Today, the choir’s mission remains the same: using music to build bridges and community and speak to diverse communities in times of need. The Choir annually performs approximately 20 community concerts – free-of-charge – at public venues or onsite at social service organizations throughout New York City, focusing on underserved groups yearning to hear music, including the sick; the elderly; the disabled; and the homeless.

The mission of the California Center for the Arts, Escondido is to bring people together to discover, create and celebrate the arts. The Center's Performing Arts Series presents music, dance, and theatre performances of high artistic merit that appeal to a diverse population. The 9,000 sq. ft. Museum presents exhibitions that feature established and emerging American regional and international artists that intersect cultures and increase access. Uniquely designed standards-based arts education programs bring the arts to over 14,000 school children annually, with a special focus on reaching the underserved.

Founded in 1983, The Wooden Floor is one of the most progressive arts-for-youth nonprofit organizations in the country. We transform the lives of young people in low-income communities through the power of dance and access to higher education. In Orange County and through our national licensed partners, we use a long-term approach grounded in exploratory dance education to foster the resources within each child to innovate, communicate, and collaborate – skills necessary for success in school and in life. 100 percent of students who graduate from The Wooden Floor immediately enroll in higher education. Our students become change agents and beacons of hope within their own families, their neighborhoods, our community, and our world.
