Camp Fircom is a remote summer camp for children, youth and families. We strive to provide positive and supportive camping/outdoor experiences for all people, regardless of their ability to pay. We have a focus on creating a strong social atmosphere, and providing youth with transformative experiences of responsibility and leadership.

Dance Brigade's mission is to engage diverse Bay Area communities and artists in the exploration of contemporary social issues by creating, producing, presenting and teaching feminist and multicultural dance/theater. We envision communities and individuals connected and inspired by dance and engaged in collective action toward creating a more peaceful world.

Bay Street Theater & the Sag Harbor Center for The Arts is a year-round, not-for-profit professional theater and community cultural center which endeavors to innovate, educate, and entertain a diverse community through the practice of the performing arts. National Dance Institute (NDI) was founded in 1976 by New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise in the belief that the arts have a unique power to engage children of every background, ability, and socioeconomic position, and motivate them toward excellence. Since its founding, NDI has impacted the lives of over two million children...free of charge.

California Dance Institute transforms the lives of Los Angeles public school students through the joy and rigor of dance. CDI’s profound, life-affirming instruction goes beyond teaching dance as a skill. Orchestrating Dreams provides high-quality innovative and adaptive education programs that strengthen communities and help individuals develop a lifelong love for music and learning. We guide individuals to realize their full potential by providing music and family education, offering mentorships for teens and adults, and organizing cultural events in the community. Music education has often been a privilege accessible only to the few who could afford private music instruction, Orchestrating Dreams aims to bring equity and access to the communities of Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx. All children deserve access to high quality music education regardless of their zip code, income, age, race, gender, or sexual orientation. In the hands of Orchestrating Dreams, music is a tool that fine tunes thoughts and feelings through healthy practice, gives voice to the voiceless, inspires action, and leads our communities to a more just and peaceful society.

The Brooklyn Youth Music Project is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to all young musicians ages 5 to 18 in the Brooklyn community and beyond, to supporting the development of lifelong learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship that meets the highest standards of excellence. We are a stand-alone youth organization, not affiliated with a professional orchestra. Our organization is dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to all young musicians in the Brooklyn community and beyond, to supporting the development of life-long learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship that meets the highest standards of excellence. We are the only program in Brooklyn to offer three levels in orchestra and two levels of Jazz ensemble. These different programs for different skill levels, coupled with our low tuition and need-based scholarships, allow us to include a great diversity of young musicians. Such a range allows students to develop their individual skills as performers as well as their sensitivity and responsiveness as collaborators. This in turn fosters the growth of the ensemble as a whole. BYMP has rapidly grown from a 25-member string orchestra to a multi-tiered program reaching over 200 children annually, largely from public schools. This vigorous growth attests to a need in the Brooklyn youth music community that we are proud to fill.

Little Kids Rock transforms lives by restoring, expanding, and innovating music education in our schools! Little Kids Rock began in 1996 as an informal effort by ESL teacher David Wish to give his San Francisco Bay Area second grade students a music enrichment program because the school did not have funding for one. What began as one teacher’s effort to bring music education to a few dozen public school children has catapulted into a national nonprofit that serves hundreds of thousands of young people year after year. Little Kids Rock was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2002, and has since expanded with programs in 48 states. We accomplished this by: • Championing an innovative modern band music education that connects learning to the music kids already know and love—styles including rock, pop, hip-hop, country, EDM, reggae, and other contemporary styles as they emerge—performed on guitar, keyboard, bass guitar, drums, vocals, and technology • Recruiting, training, and equipping public school teachers to start music programs utilizing our methods and materials • Partnering with public school districts to provide a quality music education to as many young people as possible—especially those in underserved communities Today, Little Kids Rock is the largest nonprofit provider of musical instruments, program curriculum, and teacher training in the country. Having trained more than 5,000 teachers and served more than 1,000,000 students in 500 public school districts to date, Little Kids Rock has emerged as a national thought leader in the field of music education to become a valued service provider to the U.S. public school system.
