Byrd Theatre Foundation

The Byrd Theatre Foundation strives to restore and preserve the Byrd Theatre as a grand movie palace, unifying Central Virginia communities by offering diverse cultural, educational and performance opportunities. The Byrd Theatre Foundation works to establish a viable funding plan to support its mission, create a plan for restoration of the Byrd Theatre, improve organizational communication systems to enhance strategic thinking, and develop board members and leaders to support and achieve the Foundation's goals.

CHILDREN'S AID FOUNDATION OF CANADA

As a registered charity, the Children’s Aid Foundation raises funds for programs of the Children’s Aid Society and other child welfare organizations that support children in three critical areas: Education programs that give children a chance to pursue their dreams and build successful lives for themselves, Enrichment programs that provide recreational and cultural opportunities so that disadvantaged children can experience healthy development, and Prevention programs that provide support for families before abuse and neglect begin.

The Riekes Center

The Riekes Center, founded in 1996, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the Fair Oaks neighborhood of Menlo Park. We serve 7,000+ students a year from East Palo Alto, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Redwood City, as well as across the Bay Area and around the world. Our mission is to provide community members of all ages with the best possible opportunity to define and accomplish their individual goals, build character, and learn transferable life skills while participating in our Athletic Fitness, Creative Arts, Nature Awareness, and Community Service programs. We provide these opportunities regardless of a person's ability to pay or perform.

California Jazz Conservatory

The California Jazz Conservatory is a nationally accredited music conservatory providing a dynamic community of students, artists, educators, scholars and audiences with a forum to study, perform, teach, research, appreciate and enjoy jazz and related styles of music from throughout the world. Comprising two distinct education programs, the California Jazz Conservatory, a postsecondary degree-granting program, and the Jazzschool community music school, a non-degree-granting community education program, the institution honors the contributions of past masters and promotes artistic innovation, bringing together a diverse music community to develop practical skills, acquire artistic sensibility, realize creative potential and find artistic voice.

Sing For Hope

Sing for Hope harnesses the power of the arts to create a better world. Through dynamic education, healthcare, and global initiatives, Sing for Hope activates creativity in schools, hospitals, refugee camps, and transit hubs for millions of people worldwide. Founded in New York City in 2006, Sing for Hope partners with hundreds of community-based organizations, mobilizes thousands of artists in creative service, and produces and programs hundreds of artist-created Sing for Hope Pianos that activate public space to galvanize individuals, bind communities, brighten urban landscapes, and foster social cohesion. We champion art for all because we believe the arts have an unmatched capacity to uplift, unite, and heal.

Texas Medical Center Orchestra

Established in 2000, the Texas Medical Center Orchestra (TMCO) is one of the very few orchestras with its origin in the health professions. Most of the members are health professionals who have a dedication to music that goes beyond their daily occupations. The mission of the orchestra is to provide health care professionals with a high-quality outlet for creative expression through the world of symphonic music; perform regularly at affordable concerts that are open to the public and in an accessible venue; attract a diverse audience by commitments to select popular programming reflecting Houston’s diversity; and bring public attention to, and provide programmatic support for, medically related and/or educational charities. The Texas Medical Center Orchestra is just the right medicine.

Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble

The Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble is a professional performing ensemble with a threefold mission: to offer world-class performances, to foster young musicians through high-level music education, and to engage the community.CFE's mission is supported primarily by these four programs: Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble Professional Chamber Choir (performing two full choral concerts annually); Savannah Choral and Voice Institute (a week-long intensive workshop for aspiring musicians); Clifton Gaslight Chamber Music Series (a three-day concert series); Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble Institute of Music (a teaching facility offering private lessons, group lessons, and masterclasses to high-school students preparing for college degrees in music).

The Wooden Floor for Youth Movement

Founded in 1983, The Wooden Floor is one of the most progressive arts-for-youth nonprofit organizations in the country. We transform the lives of young people in low-income communities through the power of dance and access to higher education. In Orange County and through our national licensed partners, we use a long-term approach grounded in exploratory dance education to foster the resources within each child to innovate, communicate, and collaborate – skills necessary for success in school and in life. 100 percent of students who graduate from The Wooden Floor immediately enroll in higher education. Our students become change agents and beacons of hope within their own families, their neighborhoods, our community, and our world.

Act II Playhouse is committed to creating world-class productions of new, classic & contemporary plays & musicals & to offering arts education for all ages in the Philadelphia suburbs. A non-profit, professional theatre in the heart of Ambler since 1999, we are proud to be a cultural leader in the community, playing a part in Ambler's on-going renaissance & enhancing the quality of life here. We are devoted to presenting theatre with the highest artistic standards in a 130-seat venue whose intimacy draws audiences & actors into dynamic interaction. We have a strong educational component, offering 3 semesters of classes for adults & children taught by Philadelphia-area theatre professionals.

PARENT BOOSTER USA INC - BROKEN ARROW - 74012-2007

The Broken Arrow Band Booster Club is comprised of hundreds of dedicated and talented adults who work toward a common goal of providing life-changing experiences for their children. The Broken Arrow Band Program with the assistance of the Band Booster Club annually hosts world-class events to support the program. The Broken Arrow bands enjoy rich traditions and great support from parents, school administrators and the community. Each student, instructor and parent volunteer in the organization understands that they are but temporary stewards of the program and as such, they must diligently protect what has been entrusted to them. They firmly believe it is the journey that make the difference and the growth attained through the process is more important that any product that may result.

Institute For Young Dramatic Voices

For some time now, we have been hearing cries of alarm about a ‘shortage’ of voices suited to opera’s dramatic repertoire, as if these voices are disappearing from the earth. It is certainly not the case that these voices do not exist in nature. They do. What is lacking in our fast-paced world is the time and the care and specifically tailored instruction at an early age that it takes to develop any natural voice into a healthy, expressive, and durable operatic instrument. These instruments when properly developed can last over a career of 40 years or more. This is particularly true of voices that have the potential to develop into the dramatic repertoire of Strauss, Wagner, and Verdi. Dolora Zajick’s Institute is distinguished by the principle of recognizing dramatic voices at an early age and offering them collaborative teaching and guidance by offering collaborative instruction and guidance from respected and experienced professionals who work in major opera houses and understand what these houses are really looking for in professional singers. Zajick’s own instrument took time and care to develop and it continues decades later to thrill audiences the world over. Passing on what she has learned over the course of her great career is now her guiding passion. Established in 2006, the Institute has an innovative approach. An impressively credentialed faculty works in close collaboration with the students and with each other to provide a solid foundation of skills. The program recognizes six levels of development: Opera Discovery (15–17), Introductory (18–22), Intermediate (18–26), Emerging Artists (24–34), Young Professionals (27–36), and the American Wagner Project (no age limit). Instruction is specifically tailored to the level of the singer, and at all levels the goal is to ‘get the whole voice rolling’ as Zajick says, as well as forming the whole singer and artist through a program of voice lessons, music fundamentals, Italian, German and English diction, acting, fitness, and professionalism. The program culminates in a final concert of opera scenes. Graduates of the Institute are already finding their place in the training programs and on the stages of the world’s opera houses. Faculty members are chosen for their expertise and experience in opera, but also for their understanding of the particular development of dramatic voices. All students will have the opportunity to receive private and class instruction from such notable professionals as Dolora Zajick, Luana DeVol, John Parr (Deutscheoper Berlin), Beatrice Benzi (la Scala), Marianne Barrett (Metropolitan Opera), Yelena Kurdina (Metropolitan Opera), Fabio Sparvoli, and John Treleaven.
