American Cello Institute

The AMERICAN CELLO INSTITUTE'S (ACI) purpose is to promote string performance and pedagogical ideals. In addition to scholarly pursuits ACI operates within a larger, more universal perspective by participating in the responsibility of creating a better world through its annual project, the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico (ICOPR). ICOPR’s mission is to interculturally promote peace, unity, and brotherhood amongst nations through music, to make music at the highest artistic level and to culturally enrich underserved communities throughout Puerto Rico and the world. ICOPR objectives are to incorporate young artists to nurture their formation, to attract cultural tourism and to internationally promote Puerto Rico to the world through the highest level of artistry and culture

Young Playwrights Theater

By teaching students to express themselves through the art of playwriting, YPT develops students' language skills and empowers them with the creativity, confidence and critical thinking skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. YPT honors its students by involving them in a high-quality artistic process where they feel simultaneously respected and challenged and by engaging professional theater artists in producing student plays for the community. A nationally recognized leader in arts education, YPT proves the benefit of the arts in the classroom by demonstrating the direct and positive impact of an active, arts-integrated process on student learning, and strives to close the academic achievement gap by increasing equitable access to arts education for all students.

All Stars Project

The All Stars Project, Inc. is a privately funded national nonprofit organization founded in 1981. As a leader in the field of Afterschool Development, a new way of engaging poverty, our mission is to transform the lives of youth and poor communities, using the developmental power of performance, in partnership with caring adults. From engaging young people with corporate America through its Development School for Youth (DSY), to the All Stars Talent Show Network (ASTSN), to building better police-community relations through Operation Conversation: Cops & Kids, the All Stars Project has seen the power of performance change lives. ASP involves over 20,000 young people every year in its afterschool programs in six cities across the country.

Colorado Symphony Association

Opera San Luis Obispo

Opera San Luis Obispo is to: 1. To enrich the cultural life of the Central Coast community through the presentation of opera as an art form in a variety of genres and periods at a high artistic level. Our operas continually receive good reviews, and we wish to continue this history of excellence by continually challenging ourselves. 2. To foster among youth and adults an awareness, appreciation and enjoyment of opera. We facilitate this through our Young Adult program, Opera Camp, Youth Matinees, and our Opera Affiliate Groups (OLM, BRAVO, Young Opera Lover's Guild, et cetera) 3. To provide performing opportunities for qualified singers, both resident and guest. In our opera productions, concerts, and other events, we provide opportunity for singers nearby or across the nation.

SHAPING YOUNG LIVES THROUGH MUSICAL EXCELLENCE. THE GOAL OF THE ST. LOUIS CHILDREN'S CHOIRS IS TO EMPOWER THE YOUTH OF ST. LOUIS THROUGH A RICH CHORAL PROGRAM THAT HELPS EACH YOUNG SINGER REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL - AS A MUSICIAN AND AS A PERSON. A SKILLED TEAM OF DIRECTORS AND ACCOMPANISTS PROVIDE OUR ENSEMBLE MEMBERS WITH MUSICAL TRAINING AND CHARACTER BUILDING THROUGH QUALITY CHORAL LITERATURE AND WORLD-CLASS PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES. YOUNG SINGERS, AGES 6-18, REHEARSE WEEKLY, LEARNING CHORAL SINGING, PERFORMING, MUSIC READING, ARTISTRY AND EXPRESSION - ALL WHILE DEVELOPING KEY CHARACTER AND ACHIEVEMENT SKILLS. PARTICIPATION IN THE CHOIRS DEVELOPS LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS TEAMWORK, LEADERSHIP, SELF-DISCIPLINE, COMMITMENT, FOCUSED CONCENTRATION, AND RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY.
