Founded in 1984, Concord Community Music School is New Hampshire’s largest community music school and among the 30 largest community arts schools nationally. Its mission is to foster a sense of community through music by providing the fullest possible array of musical experiences for people of all ages, musical abilities, and backgrounds. Toward this end, it seeks to: Offer programs of excellence in musical instruction, performance, and participation Develop the musical abilities, understanding, and enjoyment of all students and audience members Provide a musical environment that is welcoming and offers access to all Recruit, nurture, and reward an outstanding artist faculty that embraces the School’s values Build a board and staff team that provides excellence in governance and management.Core values are artistic excellence; access for all; musical friendships; lifelong musical learning; and faculty recognition, respect, and development.

Their mission is to conserve the art of music in schools by funding projects, scholarships, and grants that preserve music education for the next generation.

The Musicians of the Houston Symphony, (“M.O.T.H.S.”), was founded in 1997 by Houston Symphony musicians and enthusiastic community members for the purpose of promoting live classical music in Houston. M.O.T.H.S. seeks to develop personal interaction between the residents of the Greater Houston area and the Houston Symphony Orchestra musicians in order to enrich the cultural and artistic experience for both.

We believe that participating in the arts promotes creativity, entrepreneurship, and spiritual well-being which are essential for community and economic vitality. Our long-term goal is to insure a stable infrastructure and financial security for the organization. As the “heart of the arts” in Winnsboro, we will continue to work with the city and associated organizations to develop Winnsboro as a desirable destination for residents and visitors alike.
