Theatre Within provides ongoing free workshops in creative expression and mindfulness to communities in need.  We provide workshops in songwriting, art, meditation and much more for those impacted by cancer. Since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020, we have provided over 700 workshops for children who have lost a parent to cancer, adult cancer patients, survivors and their family members. In addition, we provide the John Lennon Real Love Project songwriting program to elementary and middle schools. Since the program's launch in June 2021 we have brought the program to 16 schools. Since 1981, we have celebrated John Lennon’s music, life and timeless message of peace, love and racial/gender equality with our Annual John Lennon Tribute charity concert in NYC.

The Robey Theatre Company’s mission is to foster a community of artists to develop and produce plays written about the global Black experience. Since 1979, the mission of the Sacramento Blues Society (SBS) is to preserve and promote the indigenous American Music known as the Blues. SBS offers the community a varied program of the blues and conducts community outreach and educational programs centered on the Blues. SBS keeps the Blues tradition alive in Sacramento by supporting and promoting the local blues music scene, bringing nationally and internationally renown performers to the region and providing musical education exposure to the area's youth through our Blues in the School (BITS).

To elevate student engagement, and expand the role of music in education by making purposeful, inclusive music a joyful and integral part of literacy, academic, and social-emotional learning throughout the school day, and beyond. We accomplish this by training and equipping inspired educators to integrate hands-on music and songs for learning with classroom instruction, activities, transitions, support services, and building classroom communities. ​Our unique, developmental approach nurtures creative and effective teaching practices through free weekly professional development (PD) courses in ukulele, guitar, and classroom implementation, as well as capacity-building co-teaching artist residencies, intensive workshops, in-service trainings, conference presentations, after school music clubs, and specialized services in adaptive music for inclusion.

Founded in 2015, Vanguard Theater Company is committed to producing transformational theater dedicated to diversity, community engagement, education and professional artistic mentorship. Through dynamic storytelling, Vanguard Theater Company produces works that reflect the various complexions of the 21st century artist and audience. Vanguard Theater Company is a registered 501(c)3 not for profit arts organization envisioned by visionary co-founders, Mrs. Janeece Freeman-Clark and Mr. Daryl l. Stewart.

The Academy of Music's mission is to provide the joys and benefits of learning music to the residents of Hampton Roads, regardless of their ability to pay.

Founded in 1991, the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra’s mission is to promote orchestral music in the Yampa Valley by providing professional quality performances and education experiences for community musicians of all ages. Throughout the year, the organization engages the community with educational activities and immersion weekends. Musicians from the orchestra also perform as small ensembles in the community and surrounding areas.
