The Dwana Smallwood Performing Arts Center’s mission is to use dance as a platform to encourage, inspire, and facilitate the aspirations of young people by engendering within them discipline, pride, determination, humility, respect and an appreciation for the arts. We endeavor to plant seeds of possibility where previously growth and development has been perceived an impossibility.

Founded in 1969, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) stimulates and supports the appreciation, performance and composition of chamber music by presenting chamber music concerts; commissioning and performing new chamber music works; sponsoring chamber music performances; sponsoring programs and activities; and acquiring and maintaining collections of material. CMS presents annual series of concerts and educational events for listeners ranging from connoisseurs to chamber music newcomers of all ages. Performing repertoire from over three centuries, and numerous premieres by living composers, CMS offers programs curated to provide listeners a comprehensive perspective on the art of chamber music.

To create an environment that promotes artistic and cultural experiences and provides superior educational, instructional and entertainment opportunities that elevate and enrich the community for all residents of Kershaw County and beyond.

The Center for The Living Arts is dedicated to the use of drama and the creative arts as tools for social change and personal growth. It serves as the umbrella organization for three interrelated projects.

On behalf of the County of Los Angeles, the Music Center is committed to building civic vitality by strengthening community through the arts. We accomplish this by bringing to life one of the world’s premier performing arts centers and by providing distinctive leadership and diverse opportunities for life-long learning and engagement with arts and culture. We advance our mission through three core strategies: •     Operate and animate the Music Center through Resident Company relationships and services; presentation of dance and unrepresented performing arts genres; creation of participatory arts engagement programs alongside traditional presentations, and fostering creative experiences and engagement in and through the arts. •     Create, develop and implement diverse educational and participatory arts programs for children, families and adults in schools, neighborhoods, and at the Music Center. •     Provide leadership to advance the arts as part of the core curriculum in K-12 schools and as central to the larger civic agenda, to underscore the essential value of creativity, and to highlight the role of the arts in a democratic society.

Kalapriya is a holistic and integrated performing arts institution in the city of Chicago committed to cultivating, producing, and presenting high-quality performance art and education rooted in the diverse cultural traditions of South Asia. It is a non-profit, federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) foundation.

We strive to make our community a better place by making arts education and entertainment opportunities available to all citizens of Allen County, Kansas and beyond!

As the “heart of the arts” in Winnsboro, we will continue to work with the city and associated organizations to develop Winnsboro as a desirable destination for residents and visitors alike.
