Exultate goes beyond the notes on the page to give every listener a personal, emotional experience through rich, meaningful music. Our combined choir and chamber orchestra perform music that has been delighting concertgoers for 24 years. In these troubled times, it is more important than ever to continue to “…move the souls of this and future generations.”

Danbury Music Centre Inc

The mission of the Danbury Music Centre is to sponsor musical organizations, both instrumental and vocal, in which persons of a wide variety of musical backgrounds are encouraged to study and to perform classic and modern compositions to improve their musical ability and to share the joy of music with the people of the greater Danbury area. The musical organizations will be composed of amateur and professional musicians of the greater Danbury area and will be conducted by professional directors. Most performances will be free to the public.

Warriors For Peace Theatre

A 501c3, Warriors For Peace Theatre’s (WFPT) mission is to provide catharsis, PTSD and suicide prevention treatment, and reintegration for veterans by way of the theatre arts. Our purpose is to not only help those who have served but to build bridges between communities, support disenfranchised groups, promote diversity, empower women, narrow the civil-military divide, and foster peace among nations. Music Meets Medicine

Music Meets Medicine is a non-profit organization that donates instruments and teaching time to teenagers being treated in children’s hospitals. The search for identity, independence, and accomplishment is frequently on the mind of teenagers. Unfortunately, prolonged treatment in children’s hospitals makes this search difficult, if not impossible. That’s where Music Meets Medicine steps in. Music Meets Medicine supplies these teenagers with free music lessons and makes instruments available 24/7. This gives them the opportunity to continue developing their identity, find some independence in a time of dependence, and achieve a sense of accomplishment.

Ypsilanti Community Choir

Mission A. To contribute positively to the musical environment of the area it serves, whether local, state, or national. B. To provide an organization is open to all post-high-school-age singers without audition. C. To provide free, public concerts. D. To educate and entertain area residents who attend YCC performances. E. To provide special concerts in conjunction with the Ypsilanti Community Band. F. To provide an opportunity for individual musical expression and growth among the membership. G. To reaffirm the roll of the community concert choir in American music.

CO/LAB Theater Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Creative Opportunities without Limits And Boundaries. CO/LAB exists to offer individuals with developmental disabilities a creative and social outlet through theater arts. We facilitate a safe and judgment-free environment, encouraging participants to collaborate together as an ensemble as well as discover their individual voices. The group promotes building self-esteem among participants and teaching artists alike. We seek to honor and celebrate the individual, transcending the label of a disability.

Voices Of Eve N Angels (VOENA)

Unite the world and empower future leaders through music. VOENA Children’s Choir is a professional program, unique because of its no-audition policy. VOENA teaches children ages 5-18 ethnically diverse music, instilling in them an appreciation and enthusiasm for different languages and cultures while cultivating, what director Annabelle Marie calls, the VOENA BIG 3: 1) accept the challenge, 2) be self-motivated, and 3) embrace an ethic for hard work. VOENA participants sing music from many countries, all in the native language, promoting peace through the exchange of culture.

John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit 501(c)(3) state-of-the-art mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility. In its 18th year, with the very newest technology and gear, the Bus continues to be dedicated to providing young people with tours of the studios and participation in free songwriting and multimedia production workshops. With the assistance of three on-board engineers, students learn how to write, perform, record, and produce original songs, produce and shoot music videos and documentaries and complete a broadcast quality music video – all in one day!
