Our mission is to #HealTheMusic by providing access to healthcare by removing barriers, finding solutions, and restoring health and hope for music industry professionals nationwide. Every $1 donated equals $30 in critical life-saving healthcare resources. Over the past decade, we've helped nearly 25,000 clients, saving more than $127M in healthcare costs for our music community.

The business of music is tough, and it’s only gotten tougher. Changes in the music industry have left many behind including underground legends, session players, and even the big names themselves. When age, illness, or disaster threatens a long career, many have nowhere to turn. These musicians have been saving us with their music our entire lives. These are dignified people who never think to ask for help. Their lifesaving programs turn despair into hope.

To make the works of Shakespeare and Shakespeare-inspired works accessible to a diverse audience through a free, professional, outdoor festival, and additional free and paid performances and educational programs.

This Association is a charitable and educational association that promotes quality programs, and facilitates professional growth of its members through best educational practices.

MusiCares helps the humans behind music because music gives so much to the world. Offering preventive, emergency, and recovery programs, MusiCares is a safety net supporting the health and welfare of the music community. Founded by the Recording Academy in 1989 as a U.S. based 501(c)(3) charity, MusiCares safeguards the well-being of all music people through direct financial grant programs, networks of support resources, and tailored crisis relief efforts. NCAAHPERD-SM's mission is to promote and support creative and healthy lifestyles through high quality programs in health, physical education, recreation, dance and sport, and to provide members with professional development opportunities that increase knowledge, improve skills, and encourage sound professional practices.
