Founded in 2011, West View Media is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) community news organization that informs, inspires and connects readers to generate positive change in Salt Lake City. We strive to strengthen community identity, increase civic involvement, and foster social justice for diverse communities in west Salt Lake City. They were determined to “go global” and make a major, long-term impact on the world community.The Teen International Media Exchange (TIME) was born, and found a home at the Media Academy at Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, CA, where two of the founders teach.Today, TIME is a non-profit organization with an explicit mission: to empower the energy of teenagers and the dynamic power of the media to create a peaceful, cooperative world community.

The Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism, Inc. (PVCEB), formerly known as the Unified Buddhist Church, was founded in 1998 to officially represent Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and his Sangha in the United States of America. It is the sister organization of Unified Buddhist Church (Eglise Bouddhique Unifieé - Communaute Bouddhique Zen du VDP) founded in France. PVCEB includes among its U.S. programs and operations three practice centers (Deer Park Monastery which also serves as the Administrative Head Office, Blue Cliff Monastery and Magnolia Grove Monastery), the publisher of books by Thich Nhat Hanh (Parallax Press), a fundraising arm (Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation) to continue the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village tradition, and the Community of Mindful Living (CML).

Home Scholars is the California 501(c)3 non-profit educational corporation under which the following groups operate: - HEARTS is a Christian home schooling support group located in western Contra Costa County. - King's Academy is a Private School Satellite Program (PSP) available to HEARTS members. It is a private school which provides record keeping services for a fee. It provides accountability and security for the families enrolled in it. - Class Day is a parent cooperative set up to provide group classes for home school students in HEARTS.
