The Ekal Foundation's mission is to combat illiteracy and provide primary education for every child in every village in india. Also, Ekal works towards the social and economic development of the entire village through healthcare, livelihoods and civic empowerment programs.

THEIR MISSION: "We envision the day when everyone in the world can take a safe drink of water. It is easy to take for granted ready access to a safe supply of drinking water. Yet nearly one billion people lack this most basic commodity. Creating accessible, safe water supplies in developing countries liberates people to live healthier, fuller, more productive lives."

Heifer International's mission is to end hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth using gifts of livestock, seeds, trees and training in sustainable agriculture community development projects to help millions of people become self-reliant. Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform the lives of more than 18.5 million families (94.5 million people) by giving them gifts of cows, goats and other livestock. Along with the animals, families receive training in animal care and conservation for environmentally sound agricultural development. We also provide training in community development, gender equity, sharing and caring, strategic planning and other subjects as needed, including literacy. The process takes several years and is not declared successful until the community shows sustained improvement in nutrition, income and self-reliance. Each family that receives an animal agrees to Pass on the Gift by sharing the first-born female offspring of their animal with another family in need, so each gift of livestock starts a chain of self-reliance that spreads throughout  entire communities.

As California State Parks’ statutory non-profit partner, we have a clear mission – to help strengthen parks and inspire all people to experience these extraordinary places. We are an independent 501c3 organization that supports California State Parks. What does it mean to be "the statutory partner?" That just means we were created by an act of the Legislature to address a big need identified by Governor Brown's blue-ribbon panel on the future of parks. The Parks Forward Commission concluded in 2016 that State Parks need a non-profit partner, or what they termed "a support entity." So, we were founded in 2019 to full this important need. Why would a state agency like The Department of Parks and Recreation, need a non-profit partner? Well, the short answer is: the same reason National Parks need the National Parks Foundation. Closer to home, the same reason every public school needs a PTA or parent association. That is, to fund and to implement innovative and critical programs that are not covered by the public funds. Put another way, to be the nimble partner of State Parks, what some have called "the R&D arm" of State Parks. If we want parks to be strong for the next generations, we need to be thinking now about equitable access (making sure that people from all backgrounds can get to and feel welcome at parks), and about climate resilience. Those are two of the key areas of work for Parks California. Parks California is helping make parks more welcoming, inclusive, and climate resilient. The Humane Society Of Rochester And Monroe County for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. was founded in 1873. Since the 1950's the Society has been known as Lollypop Farm, its name coming from the then popular Shirley Temple song - On the Good Ship Lollipop. Our mission is to build lifelong bonds between people and animals through education, community outreach programs, and the prevention of cruelty.  We envision a time when our community celebrates the human-animal bond; embraces the mutual benefits therein; and treats all fellow beings with care, compassion and respect.
