Founded in 2000, Stand (formerly ForestEthics) is a nonprofit environmental organization operating in Canada and the United States. Our mission is to create a world where respect for people and the environment comes first. We're doing that by challenging corporations and governments to treat people and the environment with respect — because all our lives depend on it.

PROVIDING FIRE PROTECTION AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS IN THE HUNT, TEXAS COMMUNITY

The organization is operated exclusively for religious charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c 3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code and for such related purposes as may be permitted to religious charitable and educational corporations which are organized under Florida Not For Profit Corporation Code. This includes for such purposes to provide financial material moral and spiritual support primarily to the members of the Compassionate Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Inc. CFSOP and to other missionaries in their ministries which exist to defend provide for and promote the dignity of the poor the unborn and all human life and the administering of homes and centers to provide essential basic human care evangelization education and Christian works of mercy to abandoned and neglected women children the elderly street children and orphans and the destitute poor.

Transparent Hands’ mission is to conduct free life-saving surgeries/medical treatments for poor people all across Pakistan through its transparent crowdfunding online healthcare platform.

Supporting orphans across the globe

- To promote awareness of and organize developmental support for the Shashamane Settler Community and similar charitable causes throughout the world. - To foster better local, regional, national, and international relations through the promotion of trade, sports, and cultural linkages. - To support and contribute to U.S. based Ethiopian and other charities whose objectives are in harmony with the Foundation's goals. - To establish and facilitate communications networks with the Settler community, particularly the youth. - To develop methods of establishing self-help, self-sufficiency, and community enrichment programs for the Shashamane community.

TO ANSWER FIRE CALLS FOR FIELD, STRUCTURE, CAR, AND FOREST FIRES AS WELL AS TO OFFER FIRST AID ASSISTANCE TO THE LOCAL RESCUE SQUAD.

FCI envisions a world where no woman suffers preventable pregnancy-related injury or death, where childbirth is safe for mothers and their babies, and where all people are able to enjoy their sexual and reproductive health and rights. FCI seeks to improve the health and well-being of women, girls, and newborns in the developing world by working to: - Make pregnancy and childbirth safer - Ensure universal access to reproductive health care and information - Empower women, young people, and communities

TreePeople's mission is to inspire, engage and support people to take personal responsibility for the urban environment, making it safe, healthy, fun and sustainable and to share the results as a model for the world.

Books For Africa's vision is to end the book famine in Africa.  To accomplish that, the organization collects, sorts and ships donated textbooks, reference and general reading books to countries throughout Africa.
