Pact envisions a world where those who are poor and marginalized exercise their voice, build their own solutions, and take ownership of their future. Pact enables systemic solutions that allow those who are poor and marginalized to earn a dignified living, be healthy, and take part in the benefits that nature provides. Pact accomplishes this by strengthening local capacity, forging effective governance systems, and transforming markets into a force for development.

Empower Nepali Girls

Our mission is to empower and support neglected, marginalized, and at-risk girls and young women in Nepal, especially those who are at greatest risk to be forced into early marriage, sold into sex slavery, or abandoned as orphans. We provide scholarships, mentoring, career guidance, and subsistence for children who would not have the opportunity to attend school and pursue future careers in medicine, engineering, business, teaching, and other professions.

Mayan Hands Foundation Ltd

Mayan Hands is a fair trade nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the prosperity of Mayan women so that they bring their families out of extreme poverty as they continue to live within the culture they cherish. They believe that when provided with economic opportunity, women can build sustainable futures for themselves, their families, and communities. Additionally, Mayan Hands invests in the next generation by providing scholarships for the daughters of their artisan partners.

Sunshine Girl Charities

To create a brighter future for coming generations by focusing on the needs of some the world's most vulnerable, specifically, children, animals, and the environment. By taking targeted action for the vulnerable, they can not only improve their own conditions but also inspire others to take action to further the causes in which they believe. Through community-driven kindness, they aim to create a sunnier world than the one we already live in.

AutismBC

ASBC was started in 1975 and is a parent based and directed society providing support to individuals with autism and their families in British Columbia and Yukon. ASBC Provides Support Through: Information, Referral and self-help Advocacy for Adults, Parents and Professionals; an extensive lending resource library, Internet access to valuable free on-demand information and discussion forums; a network of Community Groups throughout BC, facilitated by volunteers; seminars & conference opportunities for members; promoting community education and awareness. As well, ASBC Assists Families Financially Through: a limited reimbursement program for your child's summer activities; participation in FREE activities for families, eg: sports games, PNE outtings, movie outtings, opera, symphony for children, live theatre, rock concerts and Christmas activities. Peterborough Fire & Rescue Association

The mission of the Peterborough Fire & Rescue is to protect the lives and property of the people of Peterborough and Sharon from fires, natural and man-made disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing emergency medical services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; to provide defense against terrorist attacks; and to provide a work environment that values cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.

Israel Tennis Centers Foundation

Through the medium of tennis, the ITC offers coexistence programs for Jewish, Arab, Christian, Druze, and Bedouin kids, holistic welfare programs for at-risk children, structured physical education programs for children with developmental and physical disabilities and sports and education workshops to help immigrant children integrate into Israeli society over 20,000 children are served annually the programs nurture tolerance and collaboration, promoting a future of peaceful coexistence.

The mission of the Rainforest Foundation is to support indigenous and traditional peoples of the world's rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfill their rights. We assist them in: securing and controlling the natural resources necessary for their long term well-being and managing these resources in ways that do not harm their environment, violate their culture or compromise their future; and Developing the means to protect their individual and collective rights and to obtain, shape and control basic services from the state.
