Child Health Foundation was established in 1985 to prevent and treat life-threatening communicable diseases of infants and children in the United States and abroad. We plan and support research to develop new health care technologies for children and disseminate the results through our network worldwide. We have been instrumental in supporting grassroots innovation and education for communities and health professionals so that they are prepared to intervene in saving children's lives.

Following the mission of Hispañola Health Partners, your contribution will be used to improve healthcare services to low resource communities on the island of Hispañola by empowering and partnering with local community groups and existing healthcare structures.

The mission of Vision Health International (VHI) is to improve the vision health of medically underserved people in developing countries by providing free-of-charge professional surgical, medical, and educational services at the invitation of the host country. In addition to providing direct patient care, an integral part of VHI's mission is the capacity building of local medical personnel and the transfer of technology to the medical communities of the countries served. Educational activities include directed training of medical personnel in the latest surgical techniques, pre-and post-operative care, specialized oculoplastic instruction, and patient exams. The transfer of technology is accomplished through donations of surplus surgical supplies and equipment to local medical professionals to allow for continuity of care. Child Family Health International (CFHI) provides community-based global health education programs for students and institutions. Our unique model fosters reciprocal partnerships and empowerment in local communities, transforming perspectives about self, healing and global citizenship.

To collect unused medical supplies from local medical facilities and distribute them to countries in need, effectively limiting the negative impact on our environment and supporting health care efforts in developing countries; to send local medical personnel on medical missions to developing countries; to educate our local community about global health issues.
