Seniors Services Society offers over fifty years of combined experience serving seniors in New Westminster, across Metro Vancouver and around B.C. The society offers support programs and information for seniors in three distinct areas: Support Services for seniors living in New Westminster; Housing Services for seniors province wide; and information for seniors and service providers throughout the Metro Vancouver via our Community Education department. Annually, Seniors Services Society serves over 4,000 vulnerable and socially isolated seniors across the province.

The Friends of Algonquin Park was established in 1983 as a non profit registered charity. The Friends operate as a cooperating association under an agreement with the Ontario Parks to enhance the educational and interpretive programs in Algonquin Park. This is accomplished by developing and reprinting Park-related publications, and funding Park projects through the proceeds from sales at The Friends' two bookstores in the Park, private donations, and various fundraising efforts. The activities of The Friends of Algonquin are coordinated by a volunteer Board of Directors who reside in different parts of Ontario. Since its establishment, The Friends has grown to a membership of over 3000 people, and continues to attract support from around the world.

Its mission is to support Ukrainian refugee and rescue efforts implemented by the German & Moldovan NGO Be An Angel in partnership with other humanitarian groups including Women’s Movement for the Future. Together, we evacuate Ukrainians, especially the vulnerable--children, elderly, disabled & seriously ill. The partnership also delivers direct aid to Ukraine including food, clean water, medical equipment, supplies and medications, clothing, blankets and more--all the way to the front lines. Friends of Be an Angel was set up to give American individuals, foundations & companies the opportunity to support this extraordinary rescue and aid work on the ground in Ukraine during the Russian-led war and occupation.

Haiti Medical Missions of Memphis provides quality health care to the people of Haiti through a comprehensive primary care health clinic and rehabilitation in Croix des Bouquets near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The Clinic Saint Esprit (Holy Spirit Clinic) provides primary and preventive health care, dental and eye care, outpatient surgery and serves 200 patients per day. The Saint Charles Rehabilitation Center provides outpatient rehabilitation therapy for children and adults.The clinic also provides onsite educational training experiences for visiting, medical/dental and nursing faculty, residents, students, and private health care volunteer providers from abroad. Volunteers do not need to speak Creole/French since translators are available onsite.
