The mission of Faith Alive USA, Inc. is to help transform the lives of the poor, vulnerable and sick in Nigeria, primarily by: conducting educational outreach in the United States on the current health conditions in Nigeria and how support and action from people in the United States can make a difference, providing monetary and in-kind support for programs that provide free, holistic health care and compassionate social services to the people of Nigeria, and working closely with Faith Alive Foundation, a non-governmental non-profit organization in Jos, Nigeria.

To break the cycle of poverty by helping children stay in school. KCIS implements its mission by matching sponsors from across the world directly to children whose families cannot afford to keep them in school, thus enabling them to continue their education from grammar school through college. Additionally, KCIS cultivates partnerships with other non-profit organizations with common goals as well as increases public awareness about the social justice dynamics and its link to education.

The Good Shepherd Agricultural Mission is an independent, non-governmental, social development organization that has been providing support to those in need since 1952. 'The Mission' works in an array of areas, support to lepers, vocational training, education, disaster relief etc. but it's primary focus is the care and protection of orphan children. The Mission works hard to provide a loving home and family for every child in its care working hard to promote family relationships and impart a spirit of responsibility in every member of the organization.

We are a medical resource humanitarian organization. We are committed to partnering with other charities, corporations, and government agencies working to improve the delivery of healthcare across the world. We accomplish the improvement of healthcare through the following five key deliverables: •Assessment •Consulting •Acquiring, Packaging and Distributing (APD) •Providing Bio-Tech Solutions •Training By reducing unnecessary duplication of efforts among our partners and work to produce a synergistic environment that enhances all our efforts and magnifies social impact.

Founded in 1961, PCI's mission is to prevent disease, improve community health, and promote sustainable development worldwide. PCI is committed to sustainable change in the health and self-sufficiency of people living in acute poverty. After 50 years experience working in communities living in poverty around the world, key learnings form the foundation for everything we do and for our distinct approach to international health and development programming.  We know that the problems of poor health and poverty are inseparable, and that there is no simple or single solution.  We know that sustainable solutions require individual and community ownership, and must address the root causes of the problems they face.  We know that the job is too big for any one organization and that it takes partnerships, from the community level to business interests, through government, to succeed in the long-term.  Finally, we know that the ability to measure the real results and impact of our work, not just the activities, is critical to justify investment in our programs and in our organization.

In a nutshell, we’re a group of friends who share a common desire to keep Melissa’s Hope going, now, and well into the future. Please feel free to contact any one of us with questions and ideas. Melissa’s Hope is a rare and wonderful place. Its a positive and busy community that feels a lot like summer camp. Visiting Melissa’s Hope feels good because its run by good people who treat the orphans, students, and day campers with respect and great care. Its also an expensive place to run. Right now, people who know Melissa’s Hope are raising money where they can to keep it going, but its month by month with practically no reserve. Its a fragile state that we intend to change. MHF is a volunteer organization. We established MHF with our own time, energy, and money, so donations are NOT subject to any overhead or expenses. Every dollar of every donation goes directly to Melissa’s Hope.

Ashley Rising believes women and children made vulnerable by a life context of violence, abuse, oppression, inequality, drug and alcohol addiction, poverty and/or homelessness are at particular risk of not being able to reach personal goals. Our mission shall be to remove obstacles and create opportunities for women and children to be able to achieve their goals. Our vision is a world in which each woman and child is able to achieve her personal, familial, social, and professional aspirations free from the constraints of such limiting factors as poverty, substance use, physical violence, emotional abuse, poverty, inequality, and oppression. Our purpose shall be to partner with or provide funding to enhance or expand women-centered agencies and organizations, especially where such services are largely limited or unavailable, to help these women and their children become self-sufficient, contributing members of their communities. We will engage with local, national, and international organizations who support our mission and are already integral and viable parts of their local communities and/or establish organizations to provide services which may include, but are not limited to, comprehensive physical health, mental health, and social services; education, job-training skills, and employment; and research.

Like all things in Silicon Valley, the idea of Aram Sei germinated when a group of like-minded volunteers decided to Aram Sei which in Tamil means, help others. Aram Sei intends to help grassroots organizations raise money to support endeavors that aim to provide basic education and healthcare. Aram Sei’s core values include: operate with very low overheads, support grassroots organizations that do not have a proper fundraising channel, and create awareness about supporting grassroots charities and social issues.

Their mission is to assist individuals and families subjected to torture and war trauma to rebuild healthy, self-sufficient lives and to contribute knowledge and testimony to global efforts to end torture. Since its inception in 1995, the Program has cared for more than 5,000 men, women and children from over 100 countries. The Bellevue Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT) provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care addressing the medical, mental health, legal, and social service needs of torture survivors and their families residing in the New York metropolitan area.

To promote, support and maintain educational opportunities and initiatives for children and adults that do not have access to such opportunities and initiatives - predominantly in (but not limited to) Nepal, Indonesia, Africa and Australia To create sponsor partnerships to underwrite individual educational expenses. To support low income schools in developing countries and/or disadvantaged community in order to enhance the educational opportunities that the school can provide and maintain. To provide and/or support the social welfare of families in order to facilitate educational opportunities for family groups. Global Volunteers is an international development organization mobilizing teams of short-term volunteers on long-term development projects to help children reach their full potential abroad and in the U.S. We work with and under the direction of local leaders in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, North America, South America and the South Pacific to provide the essential services to families as prescribed by the United Nations. Founded in 1984, we are in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and cooperate with other U.N. agencies such as UNICEF.

Seniors Services Society offers over fifty years of combined experience serving seniors in New Westminster, across Metro Vancouver and around B.C. The society offers support programs and information for seniors in three distinct areas: Support Services for seniors living in New Westminster; Housing Services for seniors province wide; and information for seniors and service providers throughout the Metro Vancouver via our Community Education department. Annually, Seniors Services Society serves over 4,000 vulnerable and socially isolated seniors across the province.
