The primary purpose to join and organize Ecuadorians, their families and friends or other nations that live in California so that jointly we can carry on projects of assistance to those in need in Ecuador and in the United States. AECalifornia carries on its objectives by social activities, intellectual, cultural, sports and events of service to the community. The organization is open to the public at large and welcomes anyone who shares our ideas and not for profit activities, our mission and objectives. We share friendship, typical Ecuadorian food and that of other countries. Together we plan projects to help our brothers and sisters in need in Ecuador and in the United States. We share our friendship, culture, music, singing and dancing and organize activities to raise funds to carry on our charitable activities in support of hospitals, nursing homes, emergency relief, medical missions, for children and the needy. We support the medical missions from American doctors going to Ecuador to perform surgeries on Ecuadorian children and the poor.

Hope Health Action is a Christian charity passionate about facilitating sustainable, life-saving health and disability care to the world's most vulnerable, without any discrimination. We equip local health systems in the most fragile states, empowering national staff and facilities to fulfill their vision, ensuring the world's poorest receive accessible, dignified and compassionate healthcare.

The mission of Children of Vietnam (CoV) is to “build brighter futures for poor, orphaned, homeless, disabled and vulnerable children in vietnam” with two overarching goals: a) to assist children and families overcome the cycle of poverty, ill health, and homelessness; b) to provide immediate aid to children and families in crisis. this mission is driven by our founders’ beliefs, which guide our daily efforts: every child deserves to be happy, every child deserves a bright future, every child deserves a future without poverty, every child deserves to develop to his or her full potential, we are making this happen one child, one family, one community at a time, we are doing this by educating, healing, sheltering and nurturing. CoV strives to achieve its goals through six initiatives further outlined below: healthcare, education, housing, nutrition, empowering foundations for women & their children, and hope system of care for children with disabilities. With the dedicated support of its founder, Ben Wilson, who works without pay, CoV’s 13-member board of directors, multiple volunteers, one and a half full-time us-based employee, 4 part-time hourly assistants, and a staff of 9 in-country Vietnamese nationals work to implement these various initiatives at the grass-roots level to provide maximum impact.

Ezer Mizions goal is to provide services for the sick, elderly and disabled populations together with their families who are challenged by crises. We support other organizations which meet our criteria including Ezer Mizion-Israel which operates out of dozens of cities in Israel with over 24,000 volunteers and a professional staff of varied fields. Over 660,000 apply for services in Ezer Mizion-Israel each year. Ezer Mizion's International Jewish Bone Marrow Registry is the largest Jewish and the 6th largest registry in the world. It has saved over 2800 lives around the globe, 307 in 2017 alone.

Christian Freedom International (CFI) aids, equips and advocates for Christians who are oppressed or persecuted for their faith. CFI provides spiritual and physical help for suffering Christians to live in the dignity of God’s love and rise above their circumstances. CFI offers ways for Christians to ease the burdens of persecuted Christians through prayer, action, and giving, including emergency and disaster relief, Bible distribution, medical assistance, refugee aid, food, clothing, shelter, education, scholarships, pastor assistance, aid to the disabled, asylum case-work, and vocational training. CFI sponsors schools, children, pastors, and families.

The Overseas Press Club Foundation is the 501 (C)(3) charitable organization affiliated with the Overseas Press Club, which was founded in New York City in 1939 by a group of foreign correspondents to improve the profession of international journalism. The Foundation has a broad mandate to improve the media's understanding of international issues and to raise the quality of news-gathering efforts in covering the world. The most tangible expression of this charter is a scholarship program for undergraduate and graduate students in American colleges and universities, who aspire to become foreign correspondents. The program began in 1992 and every year offers $2,000 scholarships to 14 talented student winners of a national essay competition. In 2006, the OPC Foundation began partnering with media organizations to offer internships. The Foundation pays travel and living expenses for interns in foreign bureaus. Six of this year's winners will have internships with Associated Press (Cairo, Johannesburg, and Bangkok) and Reuters (Singapore, Beijing, and Hong Kong). The Foundation feels it is more important than ever to encourage young correspondents to travel and work abroad particularly at a time when many major news organizations have sharply reduced their networks of experienced correspondents around the world.

Misioneros Del Camino is a charitable, non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Florida, USA in 1986, and in Guatemala under Government Agreement #1088. It has federal tax exemption in both countries and was founded by Mrs. Leonor Portela, widow of Jose Crespo, a Cuban-American. Mrs. Portela, was widowed with a six months old son in 1961, when her husband, Captain Jose A. Crespo’s military airplane crashed into the ocean. Three days after the devastating earthquake in Guatemala on February 4, 1975 that left 23,000 dead and 100,000 injured, she traveled to Guatemala taking aid from Miami for the victims of the earthquake. While in Guatemala, she felt a calling from God to help the poor children of that country. In 1986, with the $2,700 she had raised with her prayer group, she moved to Guatemala to open a Home for the children. The D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization founded by active and retired Washington, D.C. Firefighters. The Foundation is dedicated to assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured firefighters and burn patients in the D.C. Metropolitan Area. We support burn research, treatment, and rehabilitation programs at Washington Hospital Center as well as the Children’s Burn Camp Program. Firefighters and members of the Burn Center have a special empathy for burn survivors. No other group witnesses more of the devastation that fire wreaks on the human body and spirit. As a non-profit organization, we rely on individuals, community organizations, and corporate sponsors for support and donations, large and small. Since 2004, we have provided well over $1.25 million in support to The Burn Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Children’s National Medical Center, along with many other essential programs for burn survivors from the Washington metropolitan area. According to the American Burn Association there are there are one million burn injuries in the USA annually and an estimated 45,000 hospitalizations. About half of those hospitalizations are admitted to the 125 specialized burn treatment centers and the other half to the nation’s 5,000 hospitals. It is estimated that one third of these injuries are children. Our Mission To prevent burns and improve the quality of life for burn survivors through programs, education and research.

Afrika Tikkun was founded in 1994 soon after the emergence of Democracy in South Africa. Our visionary founders-- the late Chief Rabbi Cyril Harris and philanthropist and businessman, late Bertie Lubner-- had a vision of focusing on children knowing they represented the future of the country, which inspired the-then President Nelson Mandela to volunteer as our Patron-in-Chief-- an honor that he only bestowed on four organizations during his lifetime. In 2002 he wrote: “Afrika Tikkun demonstrates in a practical and sustainable manner what can be done with limited resources, great commitment and passion. It is my belief that Afrika Tikkun represents the best of what civil society can offer in partnership with Government’s considerable efforts.” For the last 22 years, Afrika Tikkun has worked to redress the consequences of institutionalized oppression in South Africa. Our unique Cradle-to-Career development model enables our 550+ employees to deliver services addressing holistic educational, medical and economic needs of marginalized youth from early infancy through adulthood, inspiring and enabling them to become productive citizens and leaders. The Good People Fund, inspired by the Jewish concept of tikkun olam (repairing the world), responds to significant problems such as poverty, disability, trauma and social isolation, primarily in the United States and Israel. We provide financial support, guidance and mentoring to charitable activities of modest proportions that are undertaken by Good People acting singly or in small groups. Target endeavors are those that, by their personal scale and often-unusual nature, might otherwise find it difficult to attract sufficient support. The Good People Fund operates responsively, flexibly and with a minimum of bureaucracy. We serve as a means for donors to reach many groups and individual needs and act as an instigator of good, inspiring people to do tikkun olam and tzedakah (to do the right thing by giving) responsibly and regularly. To expand these good works (ma’asim tovim), the Good People Fund also educates youth, adults, teachers, recipients and donors about the process and power of helping others.

The War Amps is a Canadian nation-wide registered charitable organization operated under the direction of war amputees. In 1946, the Key Tag Service was launched as a sheltered workshop where war amputees could not only work for competitive wages, but also provide a service to Canadians that would generate funds for the organization. The Address Label Service was introduced in 1972 to provide year-round employment for the disabled staff at the Key Tag Service. The War Amps is able to operate its many programs, such as the CHAMP (Child Amputee) Program, PLAYSAFE and DRIVESAFE, solely through donations from the public to the Key Tag and Address Label Service. The War Amps does not: use professional fundraisers; receive government grants; solicit by phone or door-to-door; sell or trade your name/address; spend more than 10% on administration; tie up funds in long-term investments.
