CTF was born from the idea that the world would be a better place if we were all given the opportunity to give back. Established by a group of water women, we feel it is our calling to help others by teaming up with local organizations globally to raise awareness and address social, environmental, health and safety concerns in the places we visit. We aim to bridge the gap between the traveler and our projects enabling travelers to add a life-changing experience to their journeys and add purpose to travel.

The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. Our goal is to develop programs as sustainable models that can be replicated globally. Our people-to-people initiatives integrate health, education, arts and livelihood as a basis for mediation. By building Hope, we overcome the hatred propagated by terror organizations. The success of these cost-effective models shows that empowering impoverished and conflict-plagued communities strengthens international security, stability and peace.

Meds & Food for Kids (MFK) is dedicated to saving the lives of Haiti’s malnourished children and other nutritionally vulnerable people. MFK accomplishes its mission by making highly nutritious foods, including the gold-standard Ready-To-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). MFK makes its food products in Haiti, using Haitian workers and, whenever possible, Haitian raw materials. Since its founding in 2003, MFK has saved the lives of more than 220,000 children and improved the health of tens of thousands more.

HOW MISSION STATEMENT Helping Orphans Worldwide is a global community committed to providing hope, health and education to underprivileged children and families in need. We strive to bring communities together as a community and to have a better belief system of what they can do to help their own community. HOW's current programs are in Vietnam. At the Food Bank for Larimer County, we believe no one should be hungry. Our dream is to deliver health, hope and humanity to stabilize the lives of our clients and build a vibrant community. We are a private non-profit organization and the only Feeding America clearinghouse for donated food in our county. Each year, we provide food to more than 37,500 people in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs. Eleos Healing Global Mission is dedicated to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ, to give medical care to the sick, and to be a testimony of God's love among the suffering and needy people in rural areas around the world by meeting their physical needs through medical-dental short-term missions; and in Washington, DC metropolitan area through health education, health fairs, food pantries and a bible outreach in Spanish. "Eleos" is a new testament Greek word, meaning compassion or mercy. In one example, the bible uses this word when Jesus was talking about the good samaritan (Luke 10:36-37 NIV): "which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "the one who had mercy [Eleos] on him. "Jesus told him, "go and do likewise. " Each year we have sent teams of volunteers on short-term medical missions. Under his blessings, we have treated people of all ages, races and religions with over 4100 patients and preached the gospel to over 9000 people, in Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Haiti, Mexico, Peru and El Salvador.

Blessings International's mission is to facilitate medical missions primarily in developing nations by serving as a source of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Founded in 1981 by Dr. Harold Harder after personally observing the dire need for even the most common medicines on his first medical mission trip, Blessings endeavors to provide essential medicines necessary for the treatment of disease and maintenance of general health, including those for the eradication of parasites infecting many children and adults in developing nations. It is our desire that the combination of medicine, prayer and evangelism will bring the needy more readily to Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

Arogya World is a U.S. based non-profit organization (501(c)(3)), that has been working for the last decade to create a world without diseases. We have focused on preventing noncommunicable diseases (NCD) through health education and lifestyle change in India, where the NCD burden is extremely high. Since 2010, Arogya World has educated more than 6 million people on healthy habits and lifestyle change, and aims to reach ten times that number in the next decade. Our mission is reflected in our name: “Arogya” in Sanskrit means to live a life without disease.

International Eye Foundation is dedicated to helping people see! Since 1961 IEF has taken up the challenge in poor countries around the world, helping to restore sight and prevent blindness. IEF offers strong new strategic directions that focus on making eye clinics financially self sufficient. IEFs achievements include developing eye health services, training ophthalmologists and para-medicals, and fighting vitamin A deficiency, trachoma and river blindness. IEF is now strengthening the management, quality of service, and income generating activities so that eye clinics are less dependent on outside donors and government funds.

The Mission of the Tacoma Fire Buff Battalion is to support, value, appreciate, and celebrate the brave men and women of the Tacoma Fire Department. To this end, we dedicate ourselves, our efforts, and our resources, in priority order, to these ends: 1. Enhancing the health, welfare, and safety of members of the Tacoma Fire Department by providing Emergency Incident Rehabilitation Services in accordance with NFPA 1584. 2. Improving the general understanding of firefighting by serving as a forum for the discussion and preservation of the history of firefighting, the application of firefighting strategies and tactics, and the utilization and functions of various fire apparatus and equipment, all with an emphasis on the Tacoma Fire Department.
