Food For The Poor, one of the largest international relief and development organizations in the nation, does much more than feed millions of hungry children and families living in poverty primarily in 15 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. This interdenominational Christian ministry provides emergency relief assistance, water, medicine, educational materials, homes, support for vulnerable children, care for the aged, skills training and micro-enterprise development assistance.

Alight exists to walk alongside those who – by sheer circumstance – find themselves on the long and arduous journey of displacement. USA for UNHCR is an independent nonprofit organization that provides support for the humanitarian work of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) through fundraising and education. The organization supports refugee protection and relief programs around the world, meeting needs by providing resources to the world's most vulnerable people. USA for UNHCR also informs Americans about the plight of refugees and the lifesaving work of the UN Refugee Agency.

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by matching medical supplies and modern equipment with facilities in need to empower doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Project C.U.R.E. operates distribution centers in Colorado, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona and receives donations of supplies and specialized equipment from hundreds of U.S. hospitals and medical manufacturers. Thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers nationwide, two to three cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouses every week. In addition, Project C.U.R.E. sends volunteer medical teams to underserved facilities abroad to provide free care and train local healthcare staff. Today, Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of medical donations to resource-limited communities across the globe, touching the lives of patients, families and children in 130 countries.

The Foundation seeks sustainable solutions to longterm problems of poverty, with special emphasis on the needs of rural communities in mountainous and other resourcepoor areas. Priority is given to integrated approaches that are communitybased, participatory and innovative, and reinforce civil society and respect local culture. The geographic focus of the Foundation’s work is in East Africa and South and Central Asia.

Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform more than 52 million households by working in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. Girls Garage is a nonprofit design and building program and dedicated workspace for girls and female-identifying youth ages 9-18. Girls Garage is the first design and building workshop for female youth in the United States. Through after-school and summer pathways, Girls Garage provides free and low-cost programs in carpentry, welding, architecture, engineering, and activist art to a diverse community of 200 girls per year. Integrating technical skills, college/career guidance, and community leadership, our programs equip girls the tools to build the world they want to see. In our workshop in Berkeley and under the guidance of our highly skilled all-female staff, we invite girls to bring their creative voice and put them to work on real-world building projects that live in our community.

Razom's mission is to foster Ukrainian democracy and civil society through a global network of experts and organizations supporting democracy activists and human rights advocates throughout Ukraine. Razom serves primary Ukraine and United States of America. We focus our efforts on three activities: 1) Amplifying voices from Ukraine in conversations in the US 2) Building a bridge of trust between citizens in Ukraine and local government bodies 3) Being a catalyst for organizations and individuals to do more to build a successful Ukraine

The Austin Humane Society's mission is to provide comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services, transforming the lives of animals and those who love them. The Austin Humane Society (AHS) is an independent nonprofit shelter that offers comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services. AHS offers innovative, nationally recognized programs that save the lives of thousands of dogs and cats each year. AHS' approach to addressing the critical needs of animals encompasses finding animals homes through adoption, serving animals and people in times of crisis, preventing future homelessness though spay and neuter programs, and engaging the community to be a part of the solution.

Pencils of Promise (“PoP”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes every child deserves access to quality education.  They create schools, programs and global communities around the common goal of education for all.
