THE FRIENDS OF ALGONQUIN PARK

The Friends of Algonquin Park was established in 1983 as a non profit registered charity. The Friends operate as a cooperating association under an agreement with the Ontario Parks to enhance the educational and interpretive programs in Algonquin Park. This is accomplished by developing and reprinting Park-related publications, and funding Park projects through the proceeds from sales at The Friends' two bookstores in the Park, private donations, and various fundraising efforts. The activities of The Friends of Algonquin are coordinated by a volunteer Board of Directors who reside in different parts of Ontario. Since its establishment, The Friends has grown to a membership of over 3000 people, and continues to attract support from around the world.

Second Harvest

Second Harvest is the largest food rescue program in Canada. Since 1985, Second Harvest has been picking up donated, excess food, which would otherwise go to waste, and delivering that food to community agencies in Toronto. Every day, Second Harvest delivers enough food to provide 20,000 meals to over 200 community agencies in Toronto.

THE DONKEY SANCTUARY OF CANADA

The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada provides a lifelong home to donkeys and mules that have been neglected or abused, or that can no longer be cared for by their owners. The DSC provides a program in animal welfare education to school and community groups. In addition, the DSC has developed a Foster Farm Program wherein animals are placed in pairs on permanent loan at suitable farms. The Sanctuary Farm is open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays, 10-4, May through October.

he Mission of Empowering Minds International "EMI" is to provide mental health services and empower women, individuals, families and communities escape poverty and live meaningful, sustainable and independent lives by providing comprehensive mental health services, shelter including safe homes for victims of sexual and domestic violence, education and economic well-being. EMI strives to heal, enrich and enhance the quality of life for the most vulnerable and marginalized population within Kenyan communities. The individuals that we serve today become tomorrow's advocates and sponsors creating social change and breaking down stigmas and stereotypes.

Christian Childrens Fund

Providing basic needs and education for orphans and vulnerable children through partnerships with faith-based social service organizations serving children in developing nations primarily in Asia and Africa.

Tivoli Fund

The Tivoli Fund supports organizations with a focus on improving lives. This fund will split donations evenly between No Dogs Left Behind, One Mission, World Central Kitchen, GLAD, and One Tree Planted. No Dogs Left Behind is a leader in global animal rescue. Through international alliances and local resources, we engage in every step of rescue. From emergency response to dog adoption, No Dogs Left Behind stands by our survivors every step of the way. One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. World Central Kitchen uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. World Pediatric Project
